They are all different sizes. I have had a look on trumpeters website and found these images but there is nothing on what they are used for. I thought they might be used as a sort of mask but then as they don't appear to be able to get stuck down I don't think they would work well.

Does anyone know what the Trumpeter Plastic Circle Board sets are used for. I have seen them in my local shop but no one seems to know what they are used for. Thank you for help on this matter

Hi I get all my Vallejo from www.creativemodels.co.uk as there service is always really good order things on there site before 2.00pm and it gets to me either next day or a couple days later depending on if its a weekend. Plus they do good weekly deals on there site.

Does anyone know of anyone who prints decals for model aircraft to order. I have got off cuts of decals which i have managed to get hold off and i wanted to make some decals sheets with them on

depends on the version of shack your after aswell the bombay is shorter aswell

Hi all its finally done the modelling desk is finished so now its time to get back on with the model building.

Part one of the desk done so hope to get it up and varnished this weekend then back to build my kit next week

Hi Ben that's cool look forward to it. Other news model building is on hold for a little bit as I'm sorting out my spare room moving things around and designing a custom work space for myself to work at. Done all the measuring and drawings sorted so now it's time to start the build of the workstation as soon as it's built it's back to the Shackleton and then I'm going to have a play with some smaller kits and try to get my learning of different skills upto date because I want to try weathering and I want to try and do a good camo as I have just got hold of a Vulcan XH558 kit and the Lancaster dambusters gift set hopefully by then I might have been able to learn enough and got better to try and build my Mk2 AEW Shackleton

I hope so Colin i really hope i get better. I have noticed mistakes when building this so im hoping i will learn from them and with everyones comments im hoping to learn more aswell. The thing that gets me is when you see 15 year olds doing a model with photoetch and it looks as if it was a real plane makes me want to get my kits and bin them and learn to do something else. No that is the only Airbrush i have ever used and this was the first time i have used one on a kit aswell so out of everything i have done so far the one thing i am happy with is the spraying.Today has been a bad day on the build i have been none stop swearing at it since the grand prix finished so in the last hour i thought i would treat myself to a couple bottles of the crafty hen which i must say went down well. I will start work on filling the gaps on the model tomorrow when i get home from work. Ill put some more pics up tomorrow as i have tidyed up and now i cant find the camera. Ps I will now take photos on something different than the carpet (lol) PPS Thanks for all your ideas i have got lots to learn still.

Thanks Colin still learning at the moment (as i said before my first model) so finding out things as i go along its ok though got another 5 Shacks in my stash so i will get one good one out of them. I will do that the next one and i will use primmer aswell
