That’s an absolute stunner!
I rather like your shepherd’s hut in the garden too. Would make an excellent ‘modelling den’ so the lady of the house can’t moan about paint/glue smells!
-What a relief for me, I thought only french women were complaining about our beloved modelling smells...........

-Wise decision my friend, I never smoke of my life even after a military career !,Don't ask me why could it be because when a youngster, someone told me that smoking make women boobs snag, maybe I wondered what the effects would be on men.......I became the father of three, as most o smoking men do so no danger this way.........
-Well, back to White Bird, Coli was a WWI pilot as well but he came to this status after being wounded in the infantry He got his wings on 1916 , was commisionned some monthes later as captain at the head of his squadron, he didn't reach the ace status, that may explain why he is largely forgotten. After the war he made several raids as navigator with different pilots, Before the war he was breveted as long course merchant navy captain..

- The road is long and the slope is steep, but keep going on my friend, you are begening to see the light, the proof is that you are turning your mind toward your next project.. Could it be l'Oiseau Blanc de Nungesser et Coli but don't fixate on it yet.....
-Unfortunatly, I have few interest in the French interwar period aviation so I hve very few documentation about it, eventually, the Historical Service's "le Musée de l'Air et de l Espace" in Le BOURGET could be usefull and I will search if there is a Nungesser et COLI foundation somewhere able to give a hand

A blue Hayabusa.....!! I probably read the same documents who convinced me to avoid this Japanese oddity idea for a Ki 43 in the days of my old japanese period.....Only the fools never change their mind, thanks to the help of a more trusty documentation, I can say you are obviouqly not a fool my friend ....Very beautiful in this dress the falcon.....A supposed violet Rufe on your work bench may be ? I don't know wether this question has been ever resolved

E veramente bello...to be noted are the different shades of green between the german R.L.M Grün and the italian Verde Mimetico to mask the previous owner's markings

- That looks good and promising .Are the wing struts made of wood ?
Such stratch building requires ingeniousity and, above of all, lot of time to earn the benefit of this ingeniousity......your "chicken coop" (cage a poules) by the name given to WW I and later bi-plane aircraft refering to their number of struts and riging, this side of the channel take shape.....No doubt it wil be a masterpiece

Congratulations on stunning work my old friend. Lots of skill, imagination and humour on show here. It looks like you had great fun making this. 😀
Richie
- Thank you Richie, I really enjoy this, as an exclusively aircraft modeller, the challenge was the weathering of NMF, which , all in all, was not that problematic, but the funniest was the distributiion of the sheep to make them looking as if they were wandering for grazing..... I had to buy three kits of herd to have a sufficient number of them, so now two shepperds and a dog out of work making fat somewhere in my spare boxes......

- My favorite episode is the C.A bottle spilling, five years later it is still in your mind I think you can laugh at it today but when it happens I all to well imagine your distress.......That remind me the day when I had a piece of evergreen strip C.A glued on the tip of my tongue......Impossible to stop my daughter and wife laughing........ How deeply wise is Confucius..!

- One more incident to add to the history of this masterpiece.....Scratchbuilding has never been a long quiet river according to the late Confucius

-Well done Compadre , I particularly note the different shade of weathering on the external parts of the wngs less exposed to the elements than the fuselage as they are folded when parked on the carrier deck...
