Hi Max,
- Happy to see you back on the line. With the age coming we become fragile little things.......
- I won't do this again.........
- On the modelling front, I'm working on a Whirlwind Mk I from I.C.M; My first idea was to built it OOB just to wash my brain after the Gauntlet, but the devil of the modellesr tempted me with possibiliies like the flaps down and above, all a detailed gun compartment. so.... . Owing to my poor photographic skill I hesitate to post it in W.I.P...

I am joining in the “Not my comfort zone” GB starting next week building a Hawker Fury. Being a 1/32 scale modeller, 1/72 scale is definitely not in my comfort zone. It’s only a bit of fun and I hope won’t take too long and will definitely be OOB!
The Whirlwind, ah what a lovely aeroplane! They used to fly from RAF Warmwell, only a few kms from where I used to live, and they built them close to where I live now! With the right engines they could have been one of the greats along with the Mosquito etc. No WiP peut etre but an RFI bien sur?

-I would like to gives you a hand for your next project. th PL8 Whitr Bird. I made some search and discovered some doc which may be of interest for you, I know you don't both feet in the same boot yoy may have discovered them by yourself, if not this could be some time spared for you.....
-These photos comes from a flying model, so they are of course at a different scale , but they can be inspiring for your scratch.

That is so helpful, I had not seen those before and they, like you are a great source of inspiration!
I have decided now that L'Oiseau Blanc is to be my next project and I will dedicate to the memory of Coli and Nungesser and also to you. I hope to finish the BE2c within 4- 6 weeks.
These 2 great heroes of France should be remembered. I hope to do justice to their courage!

- As you may have seen on WIP, I'm in the process of bulding my second PAK-FA with the prospect of building an up-dated version corresponding to one of the preserie machine. I've discovered your former un finished WIP project and I 'm desapointed to find you've stopped your post. Your WIP are always inspiring. I remember your post about your Foxhound.
-With this one, my first main problem is to determine the shape of the main gear doors , as the ones of the kit are adapted to one of the first protoype, I even have some doubt about their actual shape.
- Second problem is the length of the intakes. Eximining photos it seems they are too short by 2,5 m/m by comparison of the position of the side small grid in regard of the gear well and with the trailing edge of the canard
-I will be happy to have your advice about these problems. Thank you for your answer.
