British* vehicles (and bridges, etc.) were usually capable of carrying much more than their supposed design limits. So even if the Churchill was too "heavy", the Scammel TT was probably still able to carry it, although I don't recall ever seeing a photo of this.
The problem is that the Airfix Churchill is a Mk. VII, which first saw service in Normandy. Of course, it probably saw service in Italy as well in the last year of the war. The Airfix Matilda, Crusader, Grant and Sherman M4 kits would all be good matches for a North African Scammel.
*And not just British, as this photo of a US M25 "Dragon Wagon" hauling a Jagdtiger shows. Now there's a diorama subject if ever there was one.
I was talking about Scammel Pioneer . He had a load capacity of 30 tons

Churchill was very heavy Tank. I'm not sure, is it posible to transport Churchill by Scammel.

(Confession, just for you:
A few months ago I bought another kit of it)
Mum's the word.
I have this kit, but still can't decide how to paint it . I can't decide whether to paint it white or make it a colored bird ...,-)

1/72nd you say, very impressive.
IBG has a lot of credit for the good appearance of the model. the model fits perfectly and has perfect details. the only thing I added was an antenna rod and a net on the exhaust pipe

this model has a very nice surface. With rivets and panels, done in a very realistic way. I think the art is to paint the model in such a way as not to destroy it, and to take pictures so as to show it

When I started this model, I was afraid that it would not be possible to make it a good model. But I succeeded. This does not always happen. Thank you colleagues for the good word. Damn, now I see that I forgot to mount the telescope - scope, -)
