  1. I just sent them an e-mail. Thanks.
  2. Thanks Steve, but like I said I already the instructions and that's all they have there. I'm trying to find if I am missing some other paperwork that may have been included. I have seen that site before and it is pretty nice! Thanks, Gary
  3. I just purchased a Pocher kit off of eBay (K74 Mercedes 500K) and was going through the parts to see if everything was there. It's kind of difficult with so many parts. The question is do I have all the paperwork. I have a description and history of the car and the assembly instructions. 2 pieces of documentation. Is there more? In the instructions for the part numbers it says "Number of Drawing" for the first 5 digits of the parts number. Is there a booklet of drawings or something like that? Thanks
  4. I have the later Revell version with no electronics and I am looking to convert it. I'd like to see how it was originally done. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Gary
  5. They actually look quite small in that picture. Here's a picture next something you can compare it with. The "beak" part is 135mm. Also very handy for rigging sails on a ship.
  6. I have a Badger 150 and have just ordered a Paasche H model. I have a bunch of bottles for the Badger and was wondering if the caps and bottles are compatible with the Paasche caps and bottles? I would like to use some of the bottles of paint I have mixed with the Paasche without having pour the paint into a different bottle. (I hate wasting paint!) Thanks

    Is it called a wash?

Great information! We call lighter fluid "Naphtha" here. I do happen to have some oil paints somewhere. I think I will give that a try. Thanks, Gary

    Is it called a wash?

I needed the translation for "surgical spirit" read "isopropyl alcohol" but not for "washing-up liquid" read "dish soap" :-) Forgot to mention that I did use a drop of soap to break the tension, but it just didn't see to work well. I will try the alcohol and see how that does. Any thoughts on making a wash with an enamel? Is there and English to English dictionary around somewhere? :-)
  9. Not sure if it's called a wash but I'm pretty sure it is. I have a plastic engine (Hasegawa Le Rhone) that I have used a spray can paint. I sprayed the paint into a bag then poured it into a bottle to spray with an airbrush. It's a nice metallic aluminum color. What I'm looking to do is to use a thinned black paint to "wash" on so that it will get into all the crevices around all the bolt heads and other details. I have tried a water based solution but it just beads up and does nothing. I have been afraid to use an enamel just in case it screwed things up. Is there a good formula that works? Thanks
  10. Paint has always been one of my weak points and I have a question. Is it OK to mix different brands of paints? I know that you should mix enamel with enamel and so one, but what say, Humbrol and Testor enamels to create a color. Does it make a difference if you plan on brushing or spraying? Same with Acrylics? Thanks.
  11. I thought that some of you might find these interesting and useful. http://www.micromark.com/tight-spot-scissor-8-inch,9711.html The website is in the USA, but you might find a local site.
  12. I have found a great place to find not only the color you are looking for, but also who makes it along with their name for it. Includes the following manufacturers: Humbrol Model Master Revell Pantone Tamiya Testors RAL Federal Standard Vallejo http://scalemodeldb.com/paint
  13. Hello, I just wanted to say thank you for posting all your trials and tribulations during your making of the Fokker. I just received my own Fokker kit this week and look to your posts for inspiration. Thanks again, Gary Texas, USA
