  1. I'm sure I had this kit waaaaay back in the day (late 70s?) Cheers, Alan.
  2. Looks like a Vauxhall Cresta to me.... Cheers, Alan.
  3. I seem to remember switches like those in my great-grandmother's house in the early 60s... Cheers, Alan.
  4. Quite the model. Many of my mates in the late 60s/early 70s had one of these. Classic bike, classic bike sound. Takes me back to me teens... Cheers, Alan.
  5. I have this kit in my stash and I have cut the bonnet out like you. Same reason... Cheers, Alan.
  6. I'm keeping an eye on this thread for reference when I come to build my 306... (Whenever that may be!) Cheers, Alan.
  7. I'll take the Fords and the Alfas. All of them! Cheers, Alan.
  8. I can't help wondering about how claustrophobic those suits would be... Fabulous outcome by the way. Cheers, Alan.
  9. Gotta love the Mk 2. I'll take that over most of the exotica above. My dad had a 1600 deluxe back in the early 70s...
  10. There's one around the corner from me here in Bristol. Daily runner as well. The guy also has an Omega saloon and a BMW 7 series (First version) Cheers, Alan.
  11. Lovely brute of a car. Tempted to buy the trans kit. Cheers, Alan.
  12. I think that you have posted in the wrong part of Britmodeller. This is the non-military section. Just ask the mods to move this post and you may well get a much better respobse. Cheers, Alan.
  13. If only. I looked my old one up on the DVLA website. Registered Jan 1979 (that's when I bought it), last taxed 1988. I only had it for two years. Not an auspicious end for it I suspect. Cheers, Alan.
  14. I wish they would re-release the 'sud. I'd make it as a replica of my 1979 model. Sadly not taxed since 1988.... Says a lot doesn't it... Cheers, Alan.
  15. I had the same dilemma on the Tamiya Peugeot 205-T16. That had a clear undertray. I painted it blue for the same reason as you. It just seems wrong to be clear... Cheers, Alan.
  16. 46 years professionally, plus another five playing with local tech college computers at school and uni. My great uncle had a PDP-8 in his lounge. Circa 1968, I think. My love for computers stems from there, I think.
  17. So many lovely cars there! Where do you start! Oh for a huge wodge of cash! Cheers, Alan.
  18. Sorry, but this old stuff doesn't do much for me. 60s classics are more my thing. Lotus Cortina, Mini Cooper S, in 1/12th scale would get my attention. Cheers, Alan
  19. Was this a show or something. The Alfa seems to be parked between a Hillman Minx (or similar) and a military device... Cheers, Alan.
  20. I was quite young (Late teens?) when I first saw this movie. Anything Sci-Fi was watched. I enjoyed it at the time. Maybe it's time to watch it again... Cheers, Alan.
  21. Looks bloody terrifying! Wonderful work, I like it a lot. Cheers, Alan.
