  1. That is very well done. The cockpit is very well appointed. The addition of blanks and ladder sets it off great.
  2. Super work, always great to see an unusual finish and scheme, particularly when really well done. Lovely.
  3. That is a fine rendition of a huge helicopter. The detail and finish are superb.
  4. Great build and finish, looks the part.
  5. Superb work. I spent 4 years working on Pinger Seakings in the late 80s and early 90s including a stint on 814 and your finish is absolutely spot on, took me back, to the many hours spent doing cab-wipes. The blanks and tip socks are great, really set it off. I have a couple in the stash, but like some of the previous posters, I may have to put them off, until the memory of yours has diminished. It is certainly the best one I have seen. 🏆
  6. Well done on getting it finished. It looks good, making it worthwhile for you.
  7. I liked your work, so much, I have just bought a job lot of US figures, which included the Patton figure, from that well known auction site, which are currently in the garage, sat in a bowl of dettol stripping the paint off, which I will have a go at painting to see if I can improve. Cheers
  8. Great scene. I love the finish on the Harrier. Always nice to see a bit of ground equipment and vehicles.
  9. You must have spent a while on these, given the quantity of both vehicles and figures, but the quality is superb. The differences between each one makes them very believable.
  10. This is great work. The crew and cargo really set it off. Makes me want to try one of these rubicon kits.
  11. Hi Steve, I agree with you. In my defence, it seemed a shame to cover the faces up. 😉
  12. The figures started off as Gecko Models 1/35 SEALs, but revamped with Hornet Heads and British weapons and pouches to depict SBS in the 1990s. Mostly finished using Vallejo and AK acrylics, with oil paint for the flesh areas. I have been trying to get back into figure painting and these are my first attempt of 2024. Thanks for looking.
  13. My 2024 completions continue with an IBG Bedford QL RAF Bowser 1950s according to the instructions. This was my first IBG kit, some aspects were very good and some not so good. Overall pleased with how it turned out, apart from just noticed I have missed matt coating the AVGAS decals on the sides of the tank. I used an old Airfix ground crew figure for the driver, after suitably repositioning the arms.
  14. My first build of 2024. This was a Christmas pressie from my son, rather than stash it, I thought I would build it. I used a couple of Caesar Miniatures figures for driver and commander. It is a nice little kit, apart from the rubber tires and metal rods for axles. Thanks for looking.
  15. You cant beat a Tamiya Cromwell and this one is rather nice. 👍
  16. This is really well done. The little details like the cards and the engine detailing are super. Top work
  17. Superb scene. The camo finish on the wagon is really well done.
  18. You should be well pleased with yourself. The camo is very nicely done. The finish on the helmet is excellent and the face is superb. The whole scene is well composed, you would never know the reason if you had not said. 🏆
  19. That is different. I like the subtle colour differences on the feathers. The contrast on the beak is effective.
  20. Considering the age, this is lovely work. I remember doing one, on their release and being totally underwhelmed with my efforts. You have ably demonstrated what can be achieved these days. 🫡
  21. The face is super, overall it is really great. I like these ICM figures, due to their relative cheapness. I have a few in the stash, may have to dig them out. Really super
  22. The Viking is fabulous. The detail is really top notch. The finish on the chest and the blood on the sword really bring it to life.
  23. Super build and finish. I have one in the stash, that I hope comes out looking as good as yours.
