  1. They are made by BPK and the 737 was released 7 years ago. I've got a few but haven't completed any of them. Very decent kit but display space or lack of, stops me pushing on with it. There's loads of potential super detailing that can be done - just have a look at the main u/c bay and you easily spend weeks adding all the pipes, hoses, aircraft structure etc!! When it was released, there were a couple of aftermarket resin pieces available from Authentic Airliners for it but they were no better than the kit parts and I only bought one set and regretted it. As for the CRJ, I've got one in the post!. BPK also offer 1/144 CRJ kits which are cracking little models - my CRJ900 is almost finished and I've thoroughly enjoyed every second of its build. They do have plans for more airliners but I think it's a pretty small company so each kit may take a bit of time to be produced. Jeff
  2. Slightly off topic, will you be offering them with alternate decals? Please say "Yes"!!! 🤞 Jeff
  3. I saw this and thought of you!! I haven't watched it yet (it's in my watch later list) but as the thumbnail is s Gnat there may be some great inspirational film to keep you going!! Jeff
  4. Just thought, maybe, you were very excited about it!!! A few years ago Authentic Airliners had a 1/72 BAC 1-11 kit in full resin. Looked superb but came with a superb price tag too. My understanding is it didn't sell that well and is now out of production. I also promised myself I'd get one, but space is becoming very limited and so I tend to stick to smaller models now. Jeff
  5. Whilst browsing eBay I saw these - Which is good news especially as there has been no mention of a 300 series being produced. £31 + postage...which is bad news. Jeff
  6. Your main u/c legs and wheels look great - did you put a wash ovet them? Jeff
  7. The Amodel Tu-134 is quite nice, certainly not as easy a build as Zvezda but it certainly isn't the "quality" or hassle of something from Mach2 for example. Jeff
  8. https://www.hannants.co.uk/product/AMU72268?result-token=5K847 Have a look here... Jeff
  9. I think "we" all felt it was going to be a toy like snap together kit with limited or chunky detail. Having had a good look at it now it's a standard Revell airliner kit with nice fine detail, just like their A350 or EMB-190 kits. The A320 NEO will be the same kit just minus undercarriage. I'm still on the fence about getting the initial release until either I can find spare leftover u/c or Revell add these parts to the A320 soon. Jeff
  10. Yeah, it's a pity... https://www.hannants.co.uk/product/AMU72268?result-token=5K847 Jeff
  11. Don't KP/ AZ indulge in a little bit of "what if?" from time to time? Jeff
  12. Umm, all of them? Jeff (Not totally sure what you're talking about)
  13. Yeah probably, the instructions explain which set is what engine (LEAP and PW1100). The fan blades leading edges are a bit sharper on the kit engine on the left and there is a slight casing bulge on one set. I'll add some photos later. Jeff
  14. Well done, another great model. Plus (controversy alert!!) realistically weathered too - no black lines or white centre panels or heavy multi-coloured streaking. Great job!! Jeff
  15. Released and now i have mine - I bought the A321 from Model Hobbies (£20 plus free p+p). For those who may be concerned that it marks some kind of retrograde step from Revell (including myself), rest assured it is every bit as good as their newest models. Detail is engraved and very fine. It's good to have both engine options though there is very little visible difference between them. My kit has a couple of slight sink marks around the main wheels but later kits may not have them (a bit like the EMB-195 when first released). Interestinglyish, the fuselage features interlocking tabs for alignment and not holes and pins and so careful gluing seems to be advised. Another good feature is a host of fuselage antenna moulded on (again careful seam tidy-up wuld be advised) Top Bottom forward Bottom aft Decal sheet is another DACO & Cartograf venture (probably the best part of £10+ if bought aftermarket?) Ahh Sharklets.... (something Zvezda strangely left out from their recent A320/ A321 release) Clear bits (which remind me of the Heller 1/125 A320) The upper wing panel is common to both the A320 and A321 models And features some nice detail underneath. Unlike the original Revell CEO version, the extra A321 wing flap mechanism covers are on the dedicated A321 wing so no need to remove them when building the A320. And no idea what these four items are because just like the A320 NEO kit, these are listed as not for use !? Jeff
  16. Richard is also on ebay (ricwarcup). As Dave mentions, 8a is a source for the A320 family. He has two choices - silk screen and laser. Each time I try to order the silk screen its always unavailable so I buy the laser ones instead. Actually not too bad though I feel it's on the lighter side of "standard" look. Below it's applied over xtracolor Airbus grey. (please ignore the incorrect wing escape route markings, they should be black and not red but I can't find any!) In the past I've mixed up a top colour from dark grey and some metallic paint for other planes. With the A380, my own preference would be to paint this as handling decals this size would try my patience too much. Jeff
  17. mmmh... The decals look good with registrations for 5 aircraft (designed by Daco, so they should be good!). Cabin windows appear quite big and the flight deck cap seems quite thick. I'll have to get one to see it better. Wonder will the Zvezda NEO be this or their new tool? Jeff
  18. Oh well, I'm sure most of us have one or two models in the stash to tide us over until then... Jeff
  19. Sadly my F-rsin Caravelle was scrapped. As Dave notes, definitely not one of their best, the ATR-72 is a bit better - mine has stalled until I or someone else can satisfactorily produce 6 bladed props. Slightly off topic but the recent (ish) Amodel Caravelle is worth a look in. Two areas of slight accuracy issue are the too sharp wing sweep and the questionable nose profile - both of which I can overlook. I've got an Amodel 10R on the bench at the moment and am enjoying every second of the build. The plastic sands and polishes lovely and so far not a great deal of filler has been required something that cannot be said of the F-rsin effort. Jeff
