Hi Bob
Heritage Aviation have a 1/72 Aeroclub Bulldog prop in their 2nd hand section.

I was near Oxford & saw the same. My thoughts at the time were that it was the Vulcan, but as it was quite a distance away it was difficult. Didn't see anything dangling to suggest under-wing tanks etc.
-
I'm sure someone's checking an Airfix Vulcan and a spare Grand Slam from a Lanc kit..........

I have a set that I am mastering now but it not top of my list of things to do, however if there is enough intrest I will move it up the list.
I am an engineer on the Seaking HC.4 and so I have first hand access to them daily so I can get the set spot on. There will be 3 versions 1980s,1990s and 2010s so a whole fleet of Junglies can be built.
Matt
I agree with the others Matt - I'd definitely take some of those!

The kit from what I have seems a waste of money due to poor research and shape issues. My advice is to buy the excellent Revell kit and wait for conversion set that will be coming soon.
Is that a definite.....?

Well done for sticking it out - I got well & truly soaked!
-
Thanks Dave. Sure these will be appreciated!!!

Lots of plans! I did the ECM.6 but in a very limited amount and no longer available, I hope to re-do but it needs some tweaks first so not in immediate future.
Colin
Thanks Colin - I'll keep on praying!

Hi Colin
Have you any plans for a late model FAA Avenger?
-
Heard it in Leamington too - lovely!!
-
There'll be at least one more sale here Colin!

Just to keeo you up to date on this :
I had an Email response from Jan over the weekend with some PDFs of their etch. I'm far, far from an expert, but it looks good to me (sorry I don't know how to attach a PDF file here for you to see).
Ordering seems like a bit of a chore at present as Jan has no PayPal account and no UK supplier as yet, but I'll give it a go and see!
-
Looks like a very interesting selection. Thanks!
-
Thanks Jan - I've tried again!

.....and returned as Host Unknown.
I'll keep my eyes peeled for them!

Email sent......

Marabu looks like an interesting company judging by their current productions (spotted via ARC). Let's hope they can get a website up & running or, even better, a UK outlet.

Sorry for diverting the topic slightly but I've just 'won' (in other words paid through the nose for) an MPM Albacore on Ebay. Unfortunately the canopy is in at least 2 pieces, but is still inside the sealed bag.
I've contacted the seller but that ain't gonna get it fixed and it's beyond me to repair it or mould another. I wondered if anyone knew what MPM are like with spare parts supply?

Sounds as if there's a need for some aftermarket chippie decals? Maybe Mr Hannant is planning such a thing....?

Aarrgh! 2 days after payday.........

I'd agree - £125 is a ridiculous amount for a 1/72 conversion.
Perhaps Ali at Atozee might be tempted to comu up with the Sea King (I believe he's reluctant to go with a Wasp because of the exposed engine & gearbox etc.)
-
Has any more been heard of their 1/72 Canberra B.2?
-
Hi Ali
How about a RN Skyraider AEW1 on 1/72? It would sit nicely next to your Gannet AEW 3......

Hi Bruce
I had a Maintrack conversion which I recently sold to Ian at Heritage.
Might be worth a quick enquiry?

Congratulations mate - hope you enjoyed the drive.
I'm fortunate enough to work for Toyota and have had the opportunity to drive GT86 on the road and track. It's a real driver's car!
Good luck with the build, I'm looking forward to watching this!
