    Wonderland Models will be attending the IPMS Scale Modelworld modelling extravaganza at Telford on Saturday 9th -Sunday 10th November 2019 and look forward to welcoming customers old and new to our stand which will be located in the International Centre's Exhibition Hall as in previous years. The IPMS (UK) Nationals, or Scale Modelworld as it is otherwise known, is one of the largest model shows in the world and is not to be missed by any scale model enthusiast. We will be offering a huge range of plastic models of aircraft, helicopters, tanks, cars, trucks and figures as well as all the paints, glues and modelling accessories including airbrushes and compressors. We will have all the latest new releases from all the leading model making brands such as Airfix, Revell, Tamiya, Trumpeter, Italeri, Dragon and Academy as well as loads of others. Look out for our yellow and blue marquee and make sure to pay us a visit. There are sure to be loads of bargains with many kits at 50% off so make so be sure to get there early!     Scotland's National Airshow at National Museum of Flight, East Fortune Airfield just on the outskirts of Edinburgh. Join us at East Fortune Airfield as aircraft old and new take to the skies for an afternoon of breathtaking aerial displays. There is plenty to do on the ground do with a host of family entertainment and the opportunity to visit the restored Second World War hangars and a large range of aircraft within. As usual we will have our blue and yellow stand set up outside hanger 3 in the middle of the showground.

    We now have the full range of Tamiya's Lacquer paints in stock and ready to ship! They come in a 10ml bottle and are suitable to paint plastic model kits and come in three finishes, gloss, flat and translucent. The Tamiya Lacquer Paint range can be brushed straight from the tub over small areas, or thinned to be used in an airbrush. Tamiya's lacquer paints feature a quick drying time, robust finish and can be over painted with either acrylic or enamel paints once dry. These paints also do not require the use of a primer and even the gloss colors can be applied directly to the plastic parts. Due to the nature of lacquer paint they should only be used outdoors or in a well ventilated area. Eye protection, gloves and a vapor mask should be worn at all times when using lacquer paints.     The Italeri kit 2795 is supposed to be a P-40E/K. The difference between the E and K is mainly to do with the engine installed. A P-40E is an RAF Kittyhawk 1A while a P-40K is an RAF Kittyhawk III. Just how accurate is this kit – I don’t know. I would suggest to asking in the WWII aircraft section to see if anyone has experience with this kit.
