  1. 70s flashback this afternoon on the M40, brown Austin Maxi on the back of a recovery truck. All so familiar...... Karl
  2. Waiting to pull out of the estate this morning, watched a lovely pale metallic green Citroen DS waft past. I'd love to own a DS, one of my all time favourite cars. Karl
  3. Guessing you probably weren't on the A30 in Staines with a caravan, unless you have very low holiday expectations! On the way in to work this morning I saw the ultimate Yorkshire car, no not a Jowett, a Volkswagen E-up! I kid you not! Did no one in VW's marketing department say that out loud! Also an early Porsche 911 and a Mercedes SL 'panzerwagen'. Karl
  4. Despite it being Monday, the glorious weather brought out some equally glorious classics. The A30 served up a rather tatty Citroen 2CV, and in sharp contrast a pristine Fiat 124 Spyder, in white with Matt black bonnet and boot lid. No to be outdone, the M25 saw a tidy, but slightly careworn Jaguar Mk1 saloon in black on a trailer. Karl
  5. I only nipped out briefly today as trying to work on my Triumph Herald, however, saw a very tidy, white MkIII Capri, looking totally stock, and all the better for it. Karl
  6. The traffic on M25 yielded an immaculate pagoda roofed Mercedes SL and somewhat less pristine Lancia Aurelia. The Aurelia was little more than a shell on the back of a recovery truck. Karl
  7. A Bedford CA van on the M25 this evening. Very smart in a coffee colour. Karl
  8. Crawling around the M25 this afternoon I spotted a very smart black Citroen Traction Avant, and then later on the M40 an immaculate BRG TR6 pooling along and a then a Jaguar XK150 on a car transporter. Karl
  9. Saw an immaculate Lancia Montecarlo today in Banbury, and a somewhat more care worn MG Maestro. Both within 300 yards of each other. Karl
  10. BBMF Lancaster and Spitfire flew over this afternoon heading north west. Karl
  11. McLaren MP4 in bright yellow on a trailer at J10 M40 this morning, and then on my way back into Banbury 2 Austin-Healey 3000s in Adderbury, and a lovely red and black Austin A40 in Banbury itself. Karl
  12. McLaren MP4 development car on the M25 this morning. It was wrapped in the disruptive black and white 'camo' that car manufacturers love. You get loads of Jaguars, Aston Martins and Range Rovers around Banbury in the full came wrap. it just makes you more likely to look in my opinion. Also a lovely Volvo P1800, also on the M25 this morning. Karl
  13. A beautiful 1948 Plymouth Convertibe in Iver this evening on the way home. Karl
  14. Despite the weather some lovely classics on the M40 this evening: Porsche 356 Lotus Elan Sierra Cosworth Karl
  15. A lovely Jowett Javelin on the A30 this afternoon in Sunbury. Karl
  16. A pair of Apaches, probably the same that Lasermonkey, saw flying over Banbury heading west at low altitude. Karl
  17. Apache gunship flying over Banbury at low altitude this afternoon. Karl
  18. Lovely cream Citroen DS in Banbury this morning. Karl
  19. Nicely done! Very smart scheme. Karl
  20. Lovely looking build. I always liked the Luftwaffe camp with the dayglo orange on the wing tanks. Karl
  21. That's a cracking looking build, and the paintwork is spot on. Karl
  22. I had a McLaren MP4 follow me round the M25 and down the M40 all the way to the A43 this evening. Good job I was in the C1 or he could have caught me! It looked to be super car Thursday on the M25 as beside the MP4 there were a brace of late model Ferraris and Porsches. Karl
  23. A very tidy Aston Martin DB6 on the M40 this afternoon. Karl
  24. Despite the rain on the M40 tonight two very nice classics: Immaculate metallic grey MGA Bright orange early Porsche 911 Karl
