  1. love these kits but I dislike white metal, i am useless at using it.
  2. It is looking very nice. Almost tempted to make my one (almost)
  3. wee is OK, and a damn sight more than I achieved
  4. that looks one hell of a delicate and easily broken bodyshell.
  5. excellent bit o' scratch work with the strip. very neat. ive never seen one of these built to this standard so ill be keeping an eye on it for sure.
  6. wow, thats a size alright. The gators grip glue, is it the same actual adhesive as the normal gators grip just thinner? or is it a different thing altogether?
  7. glad you are wiring it all up, it will be well worth it. its hard to tell if that bit is wedged between your knees or your bum cheeks.
  8. no idea on the engine colour. the promo pics show it looking black all over, and a couple of builds (one on britmodler) have been done with black block, head and transfer case with an ally crankcase. is this correct, no idea. not much help im afraid.
  9. ill have to check Wilko, looks good stuff.
  10. just as well we have you to show us how it should be done then nearing the end? ahahahahahha.... NOPE!!
  11. amazing how they can charge an arm and a leg for the kit, do a good job of most of it, then skimp on pe for the big, very visible radiator. would have cost them pennies to put it in. Looks ace now though!
  12. ca is hard, yes, but you dont have to leave it forever to go off , you can polish it to a shine and it wont shrink back. everyone has their own favourite Oh and dont tell anyone but I also use Mr surfacer a lot!! (1200 version here though) But , ( no one else can see this bit, its just between me and you right?) I didnt leave this long enough and a week later, after the paint was on, this shrank back to be (slightly) visible. this has never happened with ca. so when you do it, leave it for a good while longer than I did (at least a week ) before you paint over it to avoid disappointment. and maybe you'll also need more than one application!! Just sayin'.
