  1. Great Harriers mate, just a quick note on the GR7/9, the paveway III went on the inboard pylons due to the weight limitations on the intermediate pylons and the tanks went on the intermediates
  2. Very nice, just wish there was a wendy loader (W Type Loader) in 1/48 scale as good as this
  3. A nice tatty ton one to boot, great job
  4. Looks great but you have the wrong mark of seat, it should be a mk9 not as it looks a mk12 seat, Hope I haven't put a spanner in the works. Paul
  5. Many thanks for that it was over 24 years ago when I lived at Innsworth
  6. I'll be getting one of these, as when I lived at RAF Innsworth the gate guard was a Javelin, but can't remember what mark it was
  7. Great build, and as a ex Harrier plumber the exhaust stain is spot on as they are a filthy jet.
  8. Many thanks for the feed back and pointers guys
  9. A Gloster Javalin any MK in 1/72 would be great in my books
  10. Hi guys first ready for inspection after a return to the hobby after 22 years. Dropped myself in it by buying a compressor and airbrush to restart aaahhhhh. I think the build went well and so did using the airbrush. Had some problems with bleeding but touched up with a brush. After removing the masking from the canopy discovered some paint spots tried to remove these with a cocktail stick, had some success removing it. Any sort of critique is grateful and pointers.
  11. Hi Dan you may want to have a look at the Hannants web site http://www.hannants.co.uk/ and search spitfire at 1/24 scale and this should help with available after market stuff Paul
  12. Great build and as an ex OCU plumber great to see this build
  13. Nice work Brian, just a note though they carried the GBU-24/Paveway III's on the inboard pylons stn's 5 and 3 and the drop tanks on stn's 2 and 4. This was due to the limitations of weight on each pylon. Great build mate
