I just rebuild an old I-16 kit.
The fuselage markings are painted and based on Eduard's instruction for the 1/48 kit.
The wheels are not ok, they are from HR RESIN kit UTI-4, I will replaced it in the future.- 33

My last finished model in Juny a very nice resin kit.
Built without Problems, I used the paints from BILMODELMAKER (Poland), I also used liquids for the decal from - very nice products.
The paints dry after ca. 10 minutes and you can mask it again and paint the next colour.- 29

Beautiful model. The metal finish is very nice, which is particularly difficult on short-run kit. Bravo.
What primer/paint did you used?
Cheers,
Antoine
Thank you. I used Gunze Surfacer 1200. For matt Aluminium Gunze Silver 8, for "metall parts" BILMODEL 9900 Super Fine Silver.

Very neat! An aircraft you don't see very often.
How "short-runish" was the kit and how did you paint the registration (free-hand with a brush or with masks)?
Kit isn't perfect, especially undercarriage and the glass parts. There are no radiators on the underside of the engine covers. For the Registration I used painting masks other markings are kit decals. I also painted the French markings on the rudder and the stabilizer.

The airplane was flown by Polish pilots in one of the Polish Training Units:
- Centrum Wyszkolenia Lotnictwa - Lyon-Bron,
- ośrodku szkoleniowym - Clermont Ferrand,
- ośrodku szkoleniowym - Istres,
- Oddziale Wyszkolenia w Powietrzu - Corbas,
- ośrodku szkoleniowym - Salon,
- Centrum Wyszkolenia - Rennes,
- Szkole Pilotażu nr 101 (Ecole de Pilotage No 101) - St Cyr.
The registration at wing bottom is painted.- 28
