  1. Sean I can't see anything in the pictures.... Where are my glasses!!!
  2. Great job and very inspiring, it almost inspires me to quit building models... haha thanks for sharing and all the tips and tricks for us not ready to build something like that... yet!... that is one giant project...
  3. Looks great... thanks for sharing... Makes me want to get off my lazy streak and build something...
  4. Very good work, thanks for sharing...
  5. absolutely fantastic... thanks for sharing... I think my favorite part is the logs and ropes on front of the jeep... I just love the odd little details like that...
  6. Jason, It looks fantastic... good job for a flyboy... you need to propose a group build at IPMS Dublin for tanks, before they make me embarrass myself by building a plane... I just don't have the "right stuff" and I am like a gorilla about to break off those little bits all the time... I hope the experience was a fun one... Anyone looking for the stowage items, they are from Set #3 Universal Tents and Tarps I have made 7 sets of Generic/Universal Tents and Tarps and 2 sets of crates so far and am working on some more specific Allied and Germans things too. www.valuegeardetails.com
  7. I forgot, I was going to mention a book a friend let me borrow that is amazing, alot of you probably have seen it or have but it has so many photos I have never seen before of shermans... M4 Sherman at War by Steve Zaloga Concord Publications
  8. I too like the chaos black primer... it's the best and thinest primer ever made and sticks to anything... I like it so you can be a little sloppy painting over it and it leaves nice darks spots in the hard to get places... Tank looks fantastic, gives me some good ideas for some of the stowage sets I am working on... Sherman engine decks are on the bench right now, trying to help the all sherman nuts (what are there 50 or 60 sherman kits a guy could build) have more time to build and paint rather than look for stuff to pile onto them... the other stowage I make is generic/universal tents and tarp rolls and crates. I have some other more specific stuff (allied and German) in the works too. So thanks for the build log... steve
  9. I have been making lots of generic/universal stowage (tents/tarps and crates) and have some more specific allied and german stuff in the works, www.valuegeardetails.com sorry for the sales pitch, but I am just a guy tired of having no good extra gear in my spares box without spending a fortune on a complete stowage kit. And the prices... Ouch! There are so many great sets out there but some of the prices are just through the roof and hard for people to spend that much money on them in sad economic times. After years of digging in my spares box and only finding the exact same extra tarps and tent rolls - 4 or 5 of them at a time, I decided that one day I was going to make my own stowage, and after moving to ireland I had the time to do it... Every set I make is unique to that set, no duplicates of any parts in any set. My plan is to give modellers more variety and a better spares box for little money...
