  1. So I have been a little bit unwell last few days, so model time! Cant do much on my B17 as need to get paints. So made a quick start on this great old kit from Matchbox Still a great fun, if basic kit.

  4. Thats looking very nice, I think i will crack on with my B17 today. Re your photo above, i have done mine in copper and will brush with gun metal/black. i think that will look nice, i am new to models so no expert!
  5. Looking good. I am building that kit as well, it's a lovely model kit. I see you painted the doors I think I will give that a go too.

  9. Thats looking good, i cant belive how basic the kit is compared to the new Revell B-17G I am building now. I spent 2 hours today making and painting 4 engines and yours are already done!

  12. Mr B, yes revell instructions are a bit odd. i had to read it a few times then it was "oh! thats what you mean" moments!
  13. There mini croc clips, not worried about paint scratch as it will need a few more coats. Cheers
  14. That's big! Just watched the kee bird doc on YouTube, poor thing and they worked so hard but I guess she did not want to fly again.
  15. Little update, Wings built and test fit. And trying a dark green paint for the back of the plane
  16. That does look very nice, I like the white belly you dont often see that any more.
  17. Thank you, ok i will stick with this paint, i did give the plane a undercoat of gray first as the plastic felt greasy. Revell plastic feels different from Airfix! So this weekends work in the photos, cheers
