Hi, I have got the revell 1/48 Ventura and I want to model it as an RAF one. Does anyone have any advice on colour schemes etc please? Thanks Baggins

Hi, no that is great and thanks for the tip. The kit had paint colours that I did not recognise all in Japanese......so i went with what I thought the colours were from pics on the internet....and as I had been making a typhoon so rather lazily used the same scheme.....dark green2 raf, ocean gray 2 raf and medium sea grey 2 raf......also meant i did not have to fork out for new paints......as you can tell I am not going to win any prizes for accuracy......but it was still fun :-)

ok so i have come back to modelling after about 25 years...that is what happens when you go into toy shops age 45 with your kids :-) I have really enjoyed the quality of the new generation of kits and cant wait to get stuck into the Revell Ventura. Anyway here is one of my first attempts. not up to the quality of some of you guys but i really enjoyed doing it. It is the old Otaki kit in 1/48
