  1. Hi Riggers Dont think there are decals available, have been looking for the same decals for a couple years, so its a DIY job i reckon. There are some pics tho (http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=1069083) of a modified kit to the RD spec. If you can scale down the RD logo, should be able to print your own. Steve
  2. Be sure to let us know how you get on Steve. Hiya Theres an excellent sprue in the, think its the veterens box set, that has terminator arms, and an assault cannon. Im going to tie those up with a GK body, and see what becomes of that. Ill leave a couple of the pretties on, like the scroll work etc, and the engraved GK armour, and give it a whirl. Easier really that putting together a Terminator from spare bits, but no doubt one or two of the faithful will scream absolute sacrilidge and heresy because i dared deface the sacred ones... Will post up some pics soon.. thanks for your input guys Steve
  3. Good afternoon chaps Busy with a little bit of a 40K splurge... Anyway, i need a couple of lightbulb moments. The Deathwing Terminators available at the mo are just plain boring. They dont really convey the representation of what a Terminator is, (my opinion). I try to, as much as possible, personalise my army, so that when they are on the table, no one will have the same figures / painted the same, sure you gamers know what i mean. The only thing missing now, is the Deathwing. Ive been thinking of using Grey Knights as a base, they, to me, are what a Terminator is meant to look like Dark Angels are 1st Order, 1st Chapter so, Im thinking along the lines that the Deathwing suits might be a bit out of the ordinary. Grey Knights would suit that purpose, but a lot of filing off of detail and helmets would need to be modified a bit. Second option would be Chao's Terminators as a base maybe, recall seeing some a couple years ago done like that. And ideas chaps? Steve
  4. Hey thats a damn good idea with the big gun in front, very nice... Steve

  11. Hehe Yeah, you are quite correct sir, one should get ones P's & Q's correct otherwise one will look like a complete prat Told you its these hairyplane things, they like the dark side, once you step over, thats it, your bottom is grass No, ill stick happily to my big guns and tracks and wheels and things that generally need ground to drive around on. Overated these flyey things anyway, i mean, just sitting around, pushing buttons, pulling on a stick, firing missles from like kilometers away and then dramatic sweeping left turns for the camera's and off home for a spot of tea............ oooooooh.... wait for it Just pokin fun flyey type chaps..... steve
  12. Thanks Tony Yeah, we also used to team up with the colonial cousins on occasion, which was always good for a laugh and.... soooooo sorry, the rivet counters jumped upon me immediately because I stupidly said 'an RAF Aircraft', when, in fact its a Fleet aircraft. Hell, you guys know what i meant. Thanks Tony Steve
  13. Dont really follow as much as I used to, used to be heavily into 40k with the Dark Angels, Then liked the look of the 'nids and bought an army of those, then liked... well, you know how it goes. It got to a point where I prefered painting the figs to gaming, and it just kinda progressed from there. Nowadays i like just getting the odd fig or set and painting up, much more preferable. Busy painting up some Grey Knight Terminators, and fiddling with my old friends the Legion of the Damned at the mo, but no gaming... When Im back home this weekend, Ill post some pics. PM me if you wanna chat some more or swap woes and whimpers Steve
  14. Tony... ('sah) urrrrrm Can i ask a question without appearing to be a complete womble... (these hairyplane thingies, i dont understand...) Howcome its a Sea Harrier and has roundels, but the name under the cockpit is a USMC pilots name? Why would those nasty hamerian fella's be flying RAF aircraft? Steve
  15. Not bad for wussy little Raven Guard... I really do like the old school figgies more than the newer stuff, the old armour, especially the space wombles suit were great We are watching Steve The Angels are coming All hail the Angels of Death All hail the Dark Angels....
  16. Hi Terry Have a look at MAV decals, www.mavdecals.co.za, they have 2 sets in both 72nd and 48th. South African aircraft, one war era, and the other a target tug from the fifties. Steve
  17. Howdy All looks very nice dude Especially like the 88 Steve
  18. Ha.. I agree I have the Testarossa, and the old Fiat, and the Alfa Romeo which i was exceptionally lucky to pick up at next to nothing. I dont know if in too scared to build one or if i will be burnt at the stake and branded a heretic if i do. If you look on Ebay, these things have stoopid price... Anyway, the search continues... Steve
  19. 1.. 2.. 3.. 4.. United-States-Marine-Corp!! Boooo yah!!! She could come semper my fi any day... Steve
  20. Edited - least now i dont look like a COMPLETE numpty... Steve
  21. Noooooooooooooo Its the new version of the Tucano that looks remarkably like the PC 7, from a distance, with one eye closed, on a foggy day.... I just realised when i was cleaning up the folder that i labelled them incorrectly... ha, what a complete numpty... (s'what happens when you doing 7 things at once) Ok apologies everyone, Its a Pilatus PC-7 Turbo Trainer, not a Tucano. Severe lack of coffee and smokes to blame, and hey, i dont build these wingy things, got no tracks or beeeeeg guns... steve

  23. I looooooove the GB's I recall dimly somewhere in the past, that there are aftermarket decals available for the fuselage and wings, which has the demarkation lines on, i think it was a build from someone at IPMS USA, but we're talking a good 10 years ago, but its certain not a set of stick ons id like to try... Steve
  24. Good Afternoon Guys Its with a heavy heart I do this, but is anyone interested in a <item removed>? It was given as a gift to a friend, then passed on to me. It is 99% unbuilt, (basically 2 pieces were stuck together), but otherwise complete and untouched. Its a biiiiiiiiig mutha, and im just never going to get around building it. Im looking to swap / trade, anything Modern British Accurate Armourish. If you live in South Africa(Im in Joburg), Postage will be covered, everywhere else we can sort something out. PM me if you're interested Thanks Steve
