  1. I had not seen this Corsair. What a beauty!
  2. Ah, another fan of the 6L6, oops, KT66. True equipments glow in the dark. And your B-58 is very cool too .
  3. Thanks Adey m! I bought this Havoc as a bag kit, there was not the original box (nor decals). Glad I kept the instructions sheet. Sorry for the poor quality of the photo. I also kept the part 37, I did not want to do an A-20G, I preferred a RAF A-20C in desert colours. For some reason I cut off the original propeller blades (I could not find the hubs in the spares box). The original main wheels are still on the sprue. Cheers!
  4. I have my Frog's too . Uhu (original decals of the kit were unusable, so I put totally fictitious fuselage markings), Beaufighter NF-1 (OOB, original decals), and Havoc (I replaced the propellers and wheels with better ones from the spares box, and decals are from ESCI).
  5. Congratulations for the new glasses. They are very good!
  6. Great montage. The CG painting scheme is always very cool.
  7. A clean montage and an interesting effect of worn out painting. The antenna wire and other minor details are nicely done. Very good!
  8. I'm sorry Johnny, but the star and bar insignias without red stripes are not a mistake. For this specific bomber (B-29-5-BW, serial number 42-6299) the WWII style star and bars are correct, because in 1944 "Humpin Honey" was serving with the 58th Bomb Wing, 462nd Bomb Group, 770th Bomb Squadron, operating from India and China. "Humpin Honey" was destroyed on a 12/07/44 mission, being rammed in flight by a Japanese Nakajima Ki-44 "Tojo" fighter over Mukden, Manchuria. 9 crew killed, 2 bailed out and became POW. And your model is fabulous. A very good assemblage (I saw in the "Work in Progress" section the original Monogram flaws that you corrected) and a fantastic finishing. Congratulations! 9. Models of "B" bombers (B-17, B-24, etc.) are always interesting. Nice B-24!
  10. A very nice model, very well built, painted and weathered. IMHO the style of drawing of the nose art, including the letters, seems strangely modern.
  11. Sensational. I particularly liked the tanks. Very good!
  12. I've never seen a too beautiful R2Y "keiun" model. Fantastic painting & finishing!
