My small Finnish army in unified colours

I agree, truly lovely. In addition to the Blenheim, you may also need a P-36 and a Hurricane ... -

1/48 Revell B-24 Liberator GR.V.
Convair replied to kiwitrogg's topic in Ready for Inspection - Aircraft
The finishing is stunning, with realistic paint chipping and a slight weathering, giving the appearance of a plane not too worn (I also make my models that way). A fabulous Liberator, with a cool Leigh light. Congratulations! -
Spectacular.

Nice model, I liked it! I buit this same kit a while ago and I used a type of silicone-based clear elastic thread (for sewing finishing, I think) for rigging. I had no EZ-line at the time.

Very nice model, I did not know the type. It's like a "motorcycle" between the larger helicopters.

AIRFIX 1/72 ILYUSHIN IL-28 BEAGLE
Convair replied to adey m's topic in Ready for Inspection - Aircraft
Almost ready for a mission (judging by the gentlemen still checking the plane). Very good model with very good scratchbuilt details added. Congratulations! -
The white stripes painted over with O.D. (or with the white paint "removed", according to post D-day directives) are especially interesting. An effect not frequently seen on kits. Of course, there are many other very very good things in this montage/painting, just look at the photos. A super model (no machine gun in the nose? ).

Very nice model. My preferred twin engined bomber.

Airfix 1/72 B-29A Superfortress
Convair replied to Dereknf's topic in Ready for Inspection - Aircraft
I also dreamed of this "expensive" kit in the 70's. I only managed to buy an Airfix B-29 (second-hand, in a swap meet) in the 90's, when then the new Academy B-29 1/72 was "in fashion", and those old jewels from Airfix and FROG (as well as vacuum-formed kits) have gone down in price. -
Revell (Matchbox) Hawker Fury Mk.I 1/72
Convair replied to Tomoshenko's topic in Ready for Inspection - Aircraft
Have you used an image editing software to rework the photos of an actual plane? The details and the finishing are absolutely stunning! I also doubt that a better Matchbox Fury has ever been built anywhere. -
Beautiful!
