  1. That is beautiful! Fantastic work, very impressive!
  2. That's rather impressive! Great work on the tank itself, and a very simple and base that sets the scene with the broken bricks. Like that very much!😊
  3. Thanks everyone. I really appreciate your comments and compliments 😃
  4. The last one of the year! From Eduard's "Bodenplatte" set ( The one that had the Fw 190-9 in🤬😭) An easier build than the 190, no interior, other than the cockpit may have been a factor! Loads of options not just for different airframes but for detailing with kit parts, decal & kit parts, etched parts or the cockpit and exterior items. A good selection of decals, though the fuselage cross for the 109 was missing, not printed on the sheet. A quick message to Eduard brought no reply so I dug a suitable replacement out of the spares. So here you have a late war 109. Painted with Xtracolor enamels. And before you know it, I have a late war Luftwaffe collection! Thank you for looking, and a Happy New Year to you all with loads of happy modelling for the future Angelo.
  5. That is a very interesting looking vehicle finished to an excellent standard. The figure is nicely done and when it is all combined with the base makes for an impressive display! Great work !
  6. That's very impressive! Great work, excellent weathering and a top job on the stowage. Wonderful looking model 😊
  7. Faber-Castell. They are water colour pencils
  8. Thank you for your comments and compliments, they are gratefully appreciated. Its a shame about the kit because I’m building the 109 that came in the set and there are no problems with it, but saying that the interior is limited to the cockpit only. Thanks again 😃
  9. That is rather impressive! A very distinct and unusual scheme. Nicely done ,
  10. This is Eduard's Fw 190D-9 which came in their Bodenplatte set along with Bf 109G-14 (G-14/AS). I had a bit of a struggle with this kit! At one point it was about to encounter heavy Flak. I really struggled with getting it to fit, especially the interior parts for the rear of the engine. To get the fuselage to get anywhere near closing up I had to trim down all the bulkheads, omit some parts, then clamp & superglue with it left over night to cure, and even then I had a struggle getting the cowling to fit. Whether it was the kit or my fault is hard to say, but it was a struggle. I finished it though, and painted it using Mr Color acrylics, and weathered it with washes and pigments and used a silver coloured pencil to do some chipping. Thanks for looking Angelo.
  11. I used Tamiya X4. For me it was a perfect match
  12. Thank you one and all! I am very grateful for your comments and observations on my models.
  13. No, just one for the old Life Pak 6, but its a better vehicle than the FIATS! 😂🤣
  14. Working on that! Thanks for all your comments, greatly appreciated
  15. Thanks everyone, really appreciate your comments and observations. (I will sort out the serial number ooops!)
  16. That's a rather nice looking Harrier, and not at all bad for a first attempt!
  17. Nope! That's what happens when you model late into the night and refuse to quit until you've finished!😂
  18. This is the superb Airfix kit of the Austin K2/Y Ambulance. An incredibly impressive kit! A fantastic level of detail that comes together to produce a lovely looking model. The model was built out of the box, apart from the various items of stowage & kit. The decals are very nicely done. They are thin, opaque and settle down with little effort. Painted with Tamiya acrylics and weathered with filters, washes and chipping. Thanks for looking Angelo.
  19. This is the AMP kit of the Supermarine S6-B. I built the Airfix kit a long, long time ago! The memories of the struggle with the floats and struts were fresh however! Luckily there were no similar issues here! But it is not a "shake & bake kit", not too bad though, with good fit and lovely surface detail. The kit supplies etched bracing wires, but they deformed easily and were hard to straighten so I opted to use EZ Line instead. I also added some seat belts in that teeny tiny cockpit. They also provide a laser cut wooden jig/display base. The model was painted with Tamiya acrylics & lacquers. Thanks for looking Angelo
  20. It has been a great year for modelling! I have been able to get some subjects built and added to the collection that have been on my to do list, and sort out a few shelf of doom jobs! A big thank you to my wife, Sharon for supporting and indulging my hobby, and to my son Sam for all his support and encouragement. Some armour! Thanks for all the comments and support throughout the year, thanks for looking and a happy new year to you all Angelo.
  21. This part of the site is called 'The Rumourmonger' after all😁
  22. That is an impressive looking Bradley! Very nicely weathered and I especially like the way you have done your stowage, just as well detailed as the rest of the kit Great work!
  23. That is very impressive! Absolutely beautiful!
