  1. I just had my Tarangus J32B Lansen delivered.. As I'm unable to choose whether to build the attacker or the fighter, I think I'll do both!
  2. Just one word.. WOW! That's an awesome paint job!
  3. Very nice indeed! Don't apologize for using your artistic freedom. What-ifs are always interesting to hear about, as the modeller always has an idea behind it, rather than just putting the kit together and trowing some paint on it.. Me like!
  4. Oh, it's a model? I thought it was a real plane.. Wonderful!
  5. Aircraft graveyards have always amazed me. This diorama captures both the look and feel of the real thing! Very nice!
  6. Instead of putting in the attic, sell it on Ebay. There is always a market for well executed builds!
  7. She's not big, she's GIGANTIC!!!! I've got this kit in my stash, but I'm starting to realize that I'll probably never get around to build it.. I won't have anywhere to put it!!
  8. An An-124 in 1/72? Has anyone built one? I have a feeling it would require an extension of the hobby room..
  9. Stunning! That's a real beauty! I've followed the build with great interest and the result is AWSOME!!
  10. My goodness!! This is the kit I built back in the 80's! If you ever decide to part with it, let me know!!
  11. Can this kit have been sold under other brands as well..? I remember buying one from my local tobacco shop (!) in the 80's.. They had a section with a limited number of kits but all from a manufacturer that I'd never heard of, before or after. I think they had a Rotodyne as well? I'm sorry I binned the kit many years ago, after having used it to experiment with different colours. Would definitely have been worth a restoration!
  12. I'm using a FOME compressor (it's Italian I think) and it's unbelievably quiet. In fact, I have on several occassions forgotten to turn it off! It's not oil free but still working very well.
  13. Wasn't it only the mockup that had dihedral canards? I don't ever think I've seen any of the prototypes with anything but anhedral canards..
  14. I think there's a guy working on a recce conversion for the A32A. Quite a big job to convert though as the entire lower section of the nose is different. Will be interesting to see it when it comes!
  15. Looking forward to seeing the scheme, but a piece of advice.. Skip the Hasegawa kit and use the Heller one instead. The Hasegawa kit is simply crap! The only Viggen in 1/72 that is closely resembling the real thing is the Heller. That will look a lot better on your shelf..
  16. Good start indeed! I built this kit more than 20 years ago (before I had learnt of such things as putty, airbrush and sanding) and I remember it as great fun to build (perhaps because I didn't use putty, airbrush or sanding..?). The finished kit was REALLY big!! However, looking good so far!
  17. Looking great! Looking forward to more pictures!
