The 5 in a row on the last frame look like they may be late-WW2 Turtle helmets. But I can only see their tops If they are Turtles the crew could be used for early N.I. 'Troubles' with the Airfix Ferret

As far as I know only the cockpit area was American Interior Green. a fairly dark green called Bronze Green. All the rest of the fuselage interior was plain unpainted aluminium. The walkway was also unpainted aluminium

I would go for matt black At the time it was believed any colour could show up at night and thus everything was painted matt black
