  1. I think you're being too hard on yourself Graham - after watching this spectacular build unfold I don't think that the canopy framing is any less noteworthy than the rest. Gotta love the Mossie Clive
  2. Ah but I did state in my first post that I know zippo about the differences between air forces!!! Clive
  3. Here's one of the Hasegawa sets. The other is a weapons loading set. Clive
  4. I don't know whether RAF equipment is different to other air forces but there are US sets available from Hasegawa and Revell did some with their HAS kit. Clive
  5. Picture in this thread: Jag Clive
  6. Not me, I'm strictly braille scale Clive
  7. Same as you mate - Arnold - a short stagger from The Arrow!
  8. Well I was going to invite you out for a pint one night but as you've just made my feeble attempts at modelling look amateurish in comparison...... Clive

    Roundels

Not to mention the further variations with thin white outlines and those with US style "bars"! Clive

    Roundels

The story that I always heard was that the roundels started off as traditional red/blue or red/white/blue but when aircraft started operating in the Pacific where Japanese forces were, the red portion was removed from the markings so as not to be confused with Japanese aircraft in the heat of battle. Clive
  11. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think the confusion over the scale is because Hannant's newsletter listed it as 1/144. I only suspect this as I went and had a look myself and then checked Revell's website to see if it was new and noticed the scale there. And YES I can SEE it says 1/100 on the box - it didn't register as I was excited at the prospect of a new mould Caravelle!
  12. Vultee Vengeance or was that India?
  13. Nice looking Tiffie there Rich, looking forward to seeing the Anson finished too when your foot recovers :shithappens: . Clive
  14. Looking good Nick, gotta love the Hurri in desert clothes. I think for price and level of detail, this one is still hard to beat. Clive
  15. or what a load of :w***: ers
  16. Any takers on this one? I'd like to know too Clive
  17. It's a rebox of the Matchbox kit. There are plenty of builds and reviews around I'm sure. Clive
  18. Don't hold your breath on that one - it's Clarice's Toys - small selection of Revell/Airfix. There used to be a good place in Carmarthen but haven't been there for many years so it may have closed. Clive
  19. What version did Matchbox make? If that was an F2 then I have the decals. Clive
  20. My apologies Sivcev. I'm always amazed at people who apologise for their English when I can only speak one other language - gibberish!! I'm sure that your English will be much improved hanging around here but you may want to check whether it is suitable to be used in public. Regards Clive
