  1. Lovely job again Tony , i am becoming a great admirer of your work. Can i come round to your house and Drool
  2. Looks really good , i have one coming soon to add to my growing 32nd scale Spitfire collection.
  3. Love it Spad , she looks really good , got one in the stash to do soon and i hope it looks as good as yours.
  4. Nice job on the Mossie , the spinners look really great , one tiny nic pick if i may the roundels on the wings are a little to far in board , other than that a great build
  5. I am currently converting the Revell 1 32nd scale Spitfire MK1 back to the Prototype using the Paragon conversion set i am looking for Ventura sheet no VA3271 for the Prototype Spitfire but am not having much luck. Has anyone got this sheet they dont intend to use? I can get round the Roundel issue but i really need the K5054 markings for the fuslarge , under wings , and on the tail. Any help would be much appreciated.

  7. Im building this kit right now , The cockpit detail is very sparse to say the least , all there is is the insturment panel , control coloum seat and a small box on the port side wall. I have the Hasagawa VB kit and the Aires resin detail set , i intend to use some of the Hasagawa cockpit parts such as the throttle leaver and side walls to dress it it up a bit and use the Eduard etched seat belts on the seat.
  8. Nice Hunter , looks good to me , looking forward to seeing build no 3
  9. Oh Brother , now that is a disaster , i would have been absolutely gutted if they had been mine. You have made a wonderfull job on restoring the Demon and Gladiator , are the others restorable ?
  10. Just out of interest Darious what caused the disaster ??????? :shithappens:
  11. Wow , they look better than ever , you would never know they were really trashed.
  12. Good news chaps . The Paragon Spitfire Prototype conversions are available in 1 72nd 1.48th and 1.32 scales from Hannants. 1 72nd PAR72046 1 48th PAR48114 1 32ND PAR32030
  13. Shape wise it dose not look too bad , if the riverts were sanded off and a little rescribing done , then for a desk top model it would look pretty cool. I like how you have kept it totaly original and the period stand makes it look the part .
  14. Very nice work there Barney , a nice little collection of Canadian display aircraft , the Golden Hawks Sabre is the one for me
  15. Very nice Malcom , all clean and tidy builds , well done
  16. I am not complaning , its great too see this one back again , Tamiya Lancs on E Bay have been going from anything from £ 80.00 upwards recently. If this new release is £ 50.00 or under it has to be the bargin of the year and for those who have never built one you get a lot of plastic for the money.
  17. Ohhh now they are very nice , the Camoflage one is my favorite
  18. Blimey, now that is a real stunner the rigging is just supurb , and scratch built as well It dosent get better than this
  19. Thanks Edgar . I have the Spitfire Story by Alfred Price , on page 43 there is a picture looking into the cockpit after K5054 crashed. The canopy is missing so its easy to see inside , looks like a very light colour so i will go with your advice and use Humbrol 90.
  20. Anyone know what colour the cockpit interia was on the Prototype Spitfire ? im leaning towards interia green but was wondering if it was left in natural metal ? Perhaps one for Edger to solve ?
  21. Lovely Tony as usuall . Just goes to show if you sand off all those riverts you end up with a nice looking Shackleton ,
