Hey guys,
this is my first post in Britmodeller, forum that I've been following for several month, very interesting topics, respective mates and a hight level modellers. My name's Conrad and I'm 19, from Catalonia (Spain).
British forum, british manufacturer, but in this case, not a british plane ( ). I'm talking about the new Airfix's Mitsubishi A6M2b Type 21 Zeke (popularly known as Zero). Details are good and it seems easy to assemble, this kit will be used for practice some new modelling tecnics for me.
Let's go to see the model!
The interior was painted using Gunze Aqueous Hobby Colour, H320 with a drop of white colour (H1). I know this is not the most exact colour, but I didn't have the Tamiya's XF-71, that perhaps is the most exact IJN Interior Green. The cockpit details painted using Citadel colours (Black Chaos and Blood Red), paneled using also citadel colours very dilute (Black Chaos) and finished with Gunze H20 Matt varnish. How you can see in the first photo, I filled watches with Micro Kristal Klear to simulate the crystal (on the second photo, you will not see the Micro Kristal Klear, basically because I didn't filled it yet).
Upon completion of the interior, I proceeded to assemble the fuselage of the aircraft with the exception of the engine and its cowling, that I will improve, ride and paint apart. Tomorrow I will assemble the wings and the rest of the tail.
:bye: regards from Catalonia,
Conrad
