  1. Great work Dave! What's the over/under on me getting to see it in person in Seattle?
  2. She's looking good Bill. Lots of work. We had a partial eclipse a few years ago in the PNW. My wife got us the glasses. It was pretty cool. The birds all went silent iirc.
  3. Hoping the F-4E Kurnas would have some of the later IDF upgrades, but it looks to be an earlier E from 1973. IDF decals i have already. Still a great price for a great kit.
  4. Very nice! And thank you for the additional WIP pictures!
  5. i have bought the F, G-2/4, and G part 1 dual kits…. so i’ve preordered the G part 2 (trying Hannants this time). I expect i’ll buy the G AS, G-10, and K boxings as well… that’s a LOT of 109s.
  6. looks great Bill! Needs shades to work on it? Hope the surgery goes as well as it can!
  7. i’m patiently waiting for their F-15 line to add an A, E, and MSIPs. Looking forward to get one of each.

  9. Great work! 4 great looking Tomcats! Very interesting to see the variance between these 4 new molds.
  10. From the reference pictures i have seen of Finnish 109G-6s, rarely do i see that they show painted out Luft markings (except the crosses on top of the wings). Since even new 109s came with the standard Luftwaffe markings, am i correct to assume that Finland had a paint shop where they painted the sides of the fuselage RLM 76, and reapplied the their own style of mottling? Part of what makes me wonder if this is so, is that the pictures of MT-437 (a Regensburg build plane #163627) does not show the characteristic Regensburg 109 mottling.
  11. Nice build. Good to hear about the fit. I've got a Airfix Mitchell on my to build list (the kit in the box does look good too).
