  1. Well, the SAAB 17 has a very simple U/C solution and the U/C cover doubles as a dive brake during dive bombing.
  2. I'm building one right now. It's a short run kit and as such the quality isn't at an Eduard standard obviously. The details are soft, missing and in many cases wrong and the fit of the parts is not great. is it overprized for what you get, probably yes. BUT and that's a big but, it's the only way to build a SAAB 17 in 1/48 scale unless you want to scratch build one. And with a bit o TLC it can be made into a good looking replica of the real deal.
  3. Asked Dora Wings again about the Guardsman. Got this not so encouraging response What I'm hopping is that suspended means on hold, not cancelled.
  4. I asked them about that on FB. It's on their to do list, but no more details on when it could materialize.
  5. Do you know any individual serial numbers on the aircraft taking part in this?
  6. Are the parts to make a FB.5 included on the sprues in this boxing? I've looked at the sprue pics, but can't identify the wing tips needed to make a FB.5
  7. In stock at Rebell Hobby https://www.rebell.com/saab-j29f-tunnan-20588.html?___store=eu&___from_store=default
  8. I suppose that would have to be Vingtor for Norwegian markings I guess šŸ˜† . As for Swedish (FB.5) markings, Moose Republic has that covered.
  9. That would be nice, but I don't see that happening any time soon. Regarding the viggen I suspect that it was Special Hobby who wanted the kit to a higher standard then the Tarangus other releases.
  10. Not a rebox. The F version has a different wing with saw tooth leading edge and a bigger, longer rear fuselage to accommodate the new afterburner engine. So their will need to be some very different major parts in this release.
  11. I thought you would pick up on this Homebee, so I didn't post it here as well. Can add this though: schemes included:
  12. This is great news indeed. šŸ‘ 1/48 for me as well. And Swedish markings provided as well.
  13. Any ideas on where one could buy this when it's available? I haven't found this kit listed anywhere yet. And wolfpack kits in general seems to be very hard to get hold off.
  14. Looks really nice. But I'm hoping that someone will make the D.H.90 in 1/48. The way overlooked little sister of the D.H.89
  15. So, to do a slatted narrow chord wing F-86E-5 from Airfix kit, do you need to changed anything else besides the wing?
  16. I believe that the B-26K also had different type of main wheels (due to the heavier load?) But I don't know what differed and if those modelled are the correct type.
  17. They where quite outdated and did not stand much of a chance against the japs.
