  1. Excuse a stupid question, but what are the differences between F-4C and F-4D? If it's the same sprues in both kits the differences can't be to big. /Johan
  2. Thats great. A bit of causion though. The flying colours decals are getting rather old now so some careful handling may be required and even the use of liquid decal film. I've heard that in some cases of the 1/48 S 31 / J 26 sheets the decals have desintegrated in the water. /Johan
  3. Your welcome and if you are thinking of doing one of the a/c in the acro hunters display team a new logo is available from Rebell Hobby. http://www.rebell.com/acro-hunters-nose-emblems-1-72.html?___store=eu&___from_store=international Although it's present on the flying colours sheet i suspect that this one is of better quality. /Johan
  4. The sheet is in stock at flightdecs http://www.flightdecs.ca/A_flyingcolors_72.htm /Johan
  5. Aperently a scandinavian version of the kit is in the works as well From IPMS gothenburg site From MPM/Special Hobby/CMK news board, no mention of when it will be available though.
  6. I have also received mine from wonderland models (yesterday actually, picked it up today) sure looks impressive. /Johan
  7. Yup, thoose markings are really cool looking. I've asked syhart if they where considering doing them but haven't heard anything from them.
  8. A heads up if you want to build the splinter gripen. That is a JAS 39A and the KH Gripen can only be built as a JAS 39C A bit of inspiration using the Italeri offering (which is the correct version for the splinter gripen) http://www.ipmsstockholm.se/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=2366&hilit=gripen+splinter A few more pics http://www.ipmsstockholm.se/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=2209&hilit=gripen All in swedish only though /Johan
  9. I would LOVE to see a radial engined Hawker Hart a.k.a. Swedish B 4 in 1/48...Please, Please, Please.. And while you're at it a radial engined Hawker Osprey with floats a.k.a. Swedish S 9
  10. Could the aeroproxy shorts floats for the tiger moth work, or are they to wrong in size and shape? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Dh-Gipsy-Tiger-Moth-floats-1-48-conversion-set-for-Amodel-Aeroclub-SMER-kit-/190903225998?pt=UK_ToysGames_ModelKits_ModelKits_JN&hash=item2c72b80e8e#ht_2465wt_1399
  11. I'm guessing on fairey swordfish edit, i see i was a bit late with my post
  12. He is very active over on ARC, got a 1/32 hog build going on right now that's very impressive. He sure has mastered the salt weathering technique. To achive that weathered look i would start with the salt weathering, then add some pigments/pastels and drybrush as well. I think that stage of the build is one of the more enjoyable parts and you can experiment with differnt techniques, the use of a sponge can get the desired effect as well. Johan
  13. Now in stock at Rebell Hobby http://www.rebell.com/nyheter/heinkel-he115-t2-i-fv.html?___store=eu&___from_store=international
  14. Now in stock. At least at rebell hobby http://www.rebell.com/nyheter/heinkel-he115-t2-i-fv.html?___store=eu&___from_store=international
  15. This is some of the most insane scratchbuilding i've seen, i'm absolutely loving it. When your done with the embrear, you can take the ericsson radar and scratchbuild a 1/48 SAAB 2000 AEW&C and/or SAAB 340 AEW under it, and for good measure do a vacuum copy of it for yours truly.
  16. That's looking really nice endeed, to bad it's in the wrong scale for me. I hope that they can scale it up in the not to distant future. The shape of the fuselage looks spot on. /Johan
  17. Hi I got a list from Robert Bergwall (the man behind RBD Decals) where he lists the spinner colors, though it's not complete in any way it does state that 31043 (F11 43) has a red spinner. I would trust his knowledge in this matter because he has research this very thoroughly, and looking at the pictures it's most likely red or blue, so i would go with red. Edit: The fin numbers would most likely be yellow. Another maybe interesting fact is that that airframe is ex RAF s/n PS876 /Johan
  18. New swedish decals for the Spitfire PR XIX are now available. Far superior to anything else that's been available so far (including airfix decals). So far only 1/48 and 1/32 are available, but 1/72 are in the works. available here http://www.rbdstudio.se/ http://www.rebell.com/s31-spitfire-pr-mk-xix.html
  19. Looking good Mike. A little request if you don't mind: could you show how she looks from the side while on her legs? I think one of the major faults with the italeri kit is the way it stands on its legs with the nose gear to long giving it a nose up appearance. /Johan
  20. What resin nose replacement have you used? The only one i can find is legend production for the monogram kit. /Johan
  21. I would truly like to see both the NH-90 and A109 in 1/48, preferably Swedish versions of both of them. /Johan
  22. No sprue pics just yet, but they have put up the instructions to all their kits including the tunnan (not viggen yet though). http://www.tarangus.se/ta7201-saab-j-29ab-tunnan/instructions-ta7201/ /Johan
  23. Interesting subjects. I for one would on the other hand liked to see a AB-204B / UH-1F, but maybe thats coming to (one can only hope). /Johan
