  1. Hi Paul As I've said earlier in the thread I'm going to upgrade and am thinking of getting a high end airbrush as an investment. The H&S Infinity CR 2in1 in particular has caught my eye, could you tell me in your proffesional opinion what makes it better than say an H&S Evolution. Or what is the difference between the Infinity CR 2in1 and the Iwata Hi-line BH & CH please? Thanks
  2. Thanks for all the advice. Got my airbrush working again last night, the needle wasn't fully forward in the nozzle and wasn't moving when I moved the trigger back. Think it was something to do with the needle chucking guide or spring guide not being on right. So with that in mind I think I'm going to leave it a couple of months and save up for a more expensive brush. I've seen a few sites with Iwata High Line HP brushes for about £200, but after a bit of reading the H&S INFINITY CR plus 2in1sounds (and looks) outstanding.
  3. Thanks for the suggestions, I've been in touch with expo and the guy there thinks it sounds like either the needle has been damaged or the nozzle might be damaged and need replacing. I'm going to have more of a tinker round with it tonght and see before ording any parts. But tbh I've been thinking of getting a new airbrush for a while now anyway, which why I was asking about the Iwata brushes
  4. At the mo I've got an Expo AB725 and it's been ok but developed a fault whereas it constantly sprays when the compressor is on. I've stripped it down, cleaned with both cleaner and soaked it in hot soapy water but it's still happening. So I've decided to upgrade my airbrush, I've been looking at a Neo Iwata with a .3mm needle and a Iwata revolution with a .5mm needle and spoke to a very helpful lady at airbrishes.com who, while saying the Neo was a perfectly good airbrush she would recommended the Revolution, as despite its larger needle would be able to do better fine work due to the way it's designed. I'm interested in 1/700 and 1/350 warships and would appreciate any opinions you guys have as to which would be more suitable. Thanks
  5. If you don't mind me asking, where did you get the kit and Pontos set for £130?
  6. Thanks, using Tamiya ones at the moment, will look at getting some of the others aswell.
  7. I'm only just starting out, and using an airbrush for the 1st time. How long do you guys leave the to dry for between base coats generally?
  8. Hi guys Has anyone used the AB602 Airbrush set from Expo or could anyone let me know if they are any good? Also would an Iwata airbrush be compatible with the compressor if I decide to uprade the airbrush at a later date? Thanks
  9. Are the AS186 Compressors compatible with Iwata or Badger airbrushes? Weighing up my options beofe I take the plunge and would like to know if I can use the compressor with something like an Iwata if want to upgrade further down the line Thanks
