    Airwaves did a update to HAS5 standard, much of which is in the Revell HAS6 ,small aerial under cockpit S/B side ,ECM jammer on nose Port side main difference, interior totally different.

    The pods were Sea Vixen fuel tanks with the sniffer nose from the Victor SR grafted on the front. I Used Cyder hobby tanks with nose from the Airfix Victor SR.& Vixen hard points.

    I remember these aircraft well & always liked them dropping off troop & Landrovers on exercises. I have just purchased the Oneman models 1/72 C1 & I am really impressed with it ,awaiting decals from New Zealand so your pictures are very apt thanks for sharing.

    They were 702NAS which was the OCU for the Lynx HAS2/8 thus duel control . The black cats did not carry a RO in the port seat .

    I helped with the decals for this model, the aircraft were standard HAS 3 /8 the dual controls were fitted as required in pilot training, foot pedals & sticks for the instructor to use in an emergency, thus all other standard radar dials which the RO would use were still installed.

    Hunter GA11 T8c were Extra Dark Sea Gray & White, Light Aircraft Gray & Docker Blaze Red,later Signal Red, Post Falklands Dark Sea Gray overall but never Black overall.

    They were at Telford with there range of kits & decals, looked very well produced models.

    I have used Humbrol 87 steel gray on my Buccaneers wheel wells ,doors,wing fold ,airbrakes. Cockpit 27 near to Dark Admiralty gray.

    Try Model Art decals modartdec.they may have some sheets left.

    They were the main one,s no doubt the three XW reg RAE aircraft also carried components but the two above plus XX897 were the ones with visible mods to them .
