There are three versions, starter set,617sqn anniversary set with Lancaster, Then & now with Spitfire V .

As the three at Portland are SAR fit it is unlikely they would be used in the anti submarine role. More likely ex HAS6 cabs from HMS Sultan being brought back into service.

Standard FS colours were used so I would think Dark Gull Gray .

Saturn yellow is a dayglo colour, Humbrol used to do it ,for fishing floats it could be found in shops selling rods ect. It was used on the underside with black stripes, at Hal Far so it could be seen clearer in the bright sun light of the Mediterranean by ships firing at the target it was towing . UK aircraft had Golden yellow stripes. Mr Colour do a dayglo yellow.

Dark Admiralty Gray is the correct colour, looks very dark but shine a light inside it is remarkably lighter than in shadow.

Only used the interior decals so far, but they all appear the same.
Try Model Art decals they have a sheet covering HM2 Merlins with Squadron badges& stencils.
