  1. Looking at this again & it still looks like a real aeroplane. Stunning.
  2. That really is a monster of a model in all respects! Where on earth do you find the room to display it?
  3. Bf109's are popular, I think, because of the sheer diversity of painting schemes. Like this one - looks absolutely great. Looks tricky, mind!
  4. Fantastic build - hard to believe is started off flat packed in a cardboard box. Maybe could benefit from a little more weathering perhaps? Those African Bf109's got awfully dirty. Besides that, it's exemplary.
  5. Bloody hell! Drop dead impressive. You sure you've not Photoshoped a real plane! It's just faultless - the transparencies look like glass, the dirty tyres, the weathering, the lot! Are they decals or did you paint on the markings, because it looks like it was painted? Just faultless.
  6. That is one seriously good piece of modelling - really impressive. Beautifully weathered, it looks some way bigger than the tiny 144 scale.
  7. Lovely build, great finish - the cockpit looks superb. I refuse to use Wonderland Models - they take your money then tell you they don't actually have the kit in stock!
  8. You may like to consider stepping up to 48 or even 32 scale if the pieces are proving just too damn small & fiddly! Nice build though.
  9. Stunning. Very interesting, different and a lot going on. Great idea, really well executed.
  10. Three weeks! For a 1/32 Fw190 in that scheme, that is amazingly quick. It looks great as well. You've got the wheels sitting right, which I've found a bit challenging on Fw190 builds.
  11. That is one cute looking plane. Would not look out of place as a character on childrens TV show with that nose!
  12. Very impressive, you should be proud of that. Anyone taking on a bare metal finish deserves credit. It's one reason why I tend to stick to WW1 subjects....
  13. That really is quite lovely. Do you ever fancy having a crack at a WNW model in 1/32?
  14. That is one expensive model - you must really have a deep desire to make that plane. Seems to be coming along nicely. It would be fun gluing together the left over parts to see what that made!
  15. Having done a few WNW 1/32 kits, this model looks very, very small. Amazing, but tiny.
  16. I do like the weathering on the wings & fuselage. Really adds realism and a sense of usage. I think that a dio tells a story, and this one is a sense of backs-to-the-wall, all-hands-on-deck and the weathering certainly brings that out for me. A clean plane just would not have that same edge to it. Good stuff!
  17. Another quality build. Like the metal finish & subtle panelling work.
  18. Looks great. Got any more photos, perhaps some top views?
  19. Nice. Another interesting Luftwaffe camouflage. How come the Germans always had the coolest paint jobs?
  20. That really looks something special. Well put together, beautifully painted with a great scheme. Just outstanding.
