  1. Looks lovely - have a crack at a 1/32 Spit next, maybe Tamiya's!
  2. This is one speedy build - looking good so far. Never heard of Sword?
  3. Well, I can honestly say that I've never seen one in those markings before - nor will I ever see one again!
  4. No way is that a first build?! Stupendous work, you've a natural talent for this sort of thing - can't wait for your next build. (Ignore anybody who may point out that that many panels should not be open whilst the plane is loaded....)
  5. I would leave 48 hours between coats at least - everything else you are doing seems fine & that's the only thing that I can see that would cause the cracking.
  6. How long did you wait in-between the coats? Spraying a new coat on paint that's not quite dry can cause cracking.
  7. You can set up a dropbox account - I've one, so as I take photo's with my phone they are automatically and instantly transferred to my laptop. Saves loads of time.
  8. Is that Tamiya acrylic paint? How much thinner did you use & how many coats?
  9. Aha! I wondered why I was so impressed! I bet it's 1/32 really.......
  10. That's a lovely looking model - pretty impressive for a 1/72.
  11. Lovely dry brushing work in that cockpit.
  12. You've made an excellent job of that little model. Looks great - unusual subject, another German jet way ahead of it's time.
  13. My guess is inspection windows for the folding wing mechanism - the design was changed but the windows were left there until somebody noticed they were not needed in the MkV.
  14. Wow. Real planes parked on a giant table, or fantastic models? So good I can't tell yet! Excellent work that man!
  15. Would the panels be open?! What sort of question is that? I mean, are real helicopters 4 inches tall? I think people get a little bit too carried away with "realism" sometimes....
  16. That is one handsome looking aeroplane model! Those masks have worked really, really well & you've got that painted-on look just perfectly. Weathering is good, in particular the underside. Good work!
  17. No way is that 1/72??!! That's bloody amazing. The level of finish & detail you've managed to squeeze into a small model is nothing short of spectacular. Beautifully applied, subdued weathering is great & the engine BMF is superb. Deeply impressed with this one!
  18. Nice little build - never realised they were still being flown in anger in the 70's.
  19. Like that - looks like a close relative of the Gannet! Think I'd have preferred wings down, as there are some interesting goings on over the wings & the cockpit is lost to view.t. Having said that, still a first class build that I would be more than proud with.
  20. That's a lovely little plane. Good work that man!
