  1. Amazing - the open Merlins look great & the undercarriage detailing is also spot on.
  2. That's heartbreaking. I'd go option 1 - it looked stunning before & it should not take too much work to get it back.
  3. I love the Razorbacks, they look more aggressive and angrier than the bubbletops. Superb weathering on top of a faultless build, really looks the part.
  4. When you say 6th build, that's surely not only your sixth build ever?
  5. Don't see many of these around. Good paintwork on the glazing & the weathering over the decals is very realistic - I've seen so many models where the weathering avoid the decals altogether. Good stuff.
  6. Wow - that looks super detailed & could very easily pass for 1/48. I only model in 1/32 but I'm continually surprised by the amount of detail and finish that people manage to put into 1/72. It's far beyond my efforts at that scale - most impressive. The shading on the panel lines is perfect - just right to bring out the detail but not overpowering. Are the markings painted? They look awfully good. I'm officially jealous!
  7. Lovely model - interesting and a good idea. In reality, the plane would surely lack speed, power, maximum height, climb rate, range and load carrying ability, to say nothing of avionics, radar & flexibility?
  8. Interesting weathering on the underside, not seen anything like that before.
  9. Really? Excellent work, always a good sign when it's hard to work out the scale.
  10. Damn right you should be proud - that's a pretty good build. Good quality photography as well. My builds when I was 15 were, um, interesting....
  11. Impressive build & paint on this one. Perhaps your weathering needs a little bit of work? It looks just a little too "concentrated" maybe, as it looks well worn in some parts yet new in others?
  12. I do like the roundel effect - really gives the impression of a translucent wing surface, which is so often missing from WW1 subjects. Most impressive.
  13. Not bad at all. Camouflage works well with your painting table!
  14. Beautiful pictures, thanks for posting. That Albatros in particular is absolutely stunningly gorgeous. The German's certainly knew how to make good looking planes during WW1, especially with the paint jobs & markings. The Allied planes look decidedly dull by comparison!
  15. Northwest is vac formed, judging by the shape of the wing roots.
  16. Speechless. Absolutely speechless. I was feeling rather pleased with myself with my 1/32 Se.5a, then I see this - and you MAKE your own PE Sheet?! And Printing your own parts?! Amazing work - looking forward to the next updates.
  17. That doesn't half look realistic, especially with that bomb trolley! Very subtle weathering as well. Good stuff.
  18. I do like that, really interesting looking model with the panels open & armaments. Somebody will no doubt be along shortly to tell you that the panels are NEVER opened like that when the wings are loaded with bombs & missiles. Ignore them, I love it!
  19. What a fantastic collection, that's absolutely awesome!
