  1. That is a pretty unique dio you have there, very interesting.
  2. Your very first build is a Tamiya P51 dio?!
  3. Got to be a re-tooled Mosquito in 1/32. Or something outrageous, like a Lancaster in 1/32.
  4. Did a stock-take in my loft, found I had 8 Bf109's, 5 Fw190's & 3 Ju88's - all 1/32, all with various BigEd kits, resin add-on and after-market stuff shoved in the boxes. That's the advantage of a poor memory, feels like Christmas again!
  5. I'll give this a go, it's just what I need. Wish I had it before I ended up with 8 Bf109's. In 1/32.
  6. The Hobbydecal dry 1/32 Swastikas are pretty impressive.

I found that I got this problem, but I thinned the paint a little more and turned up the pressure a few PSI and that sorted it out. I also painted a little further away from the model, as I was a bit too close for the higher air pressure.
  8. A brave man indeed who models WW1 subject in 1/72. You must have impressive eyesight. And steady hands.
  9. For somebody doing one of their first builds, that's pretty spectacular. I'll look forward to the new attempt.
  10. If I were you I'd make the most of the modelling before the baby arrives - congratulations by the way! Before I had kids I had time & money. Since they arrived both are in very short supply, and it's no coincidence....
  11. I do like that cockpit detailing. Brings out the detailing really well without being too heavy.
  12. That is one deeply impressive piece of work - don't think I've seen such a hopelessly inept kit turned into such a great model. Makes me realise that the less well regarded kits in my stash - I'm looking at you, Hasegawa Me262A & Special Hobby P-39D - are just itching to be improved upon. Good stuff.
  13. No glue required, comes with paints and a brush and I bet it flies a damn sight better than the Airfix Spitfire. For £2.99? That's simply amazing value. You need to finish it then give it a test flight. You will be pleasantly surprised, as well as scaring a few birds.
  14. I love following these builds for kits I have in the stash!
  15. Absolutely amazing! Don't know if Customs are short staffed or something, but my last 3 WNW orders have all escaped their prying eyes. And charges.
  16. Already seen a couple on Ebay go for silly money. That special edition will be pretty good.
  17. I left a full time, well paid job around 10 years ago and swapped it for a far less well paid, self-employed role. Best thing I ever did - hope it works out for you.
