  1. Hi everyone, this was a very enjoyable build with the livery cobbled together from a number of different sources, majority of decals come from a Skyline detail set,the BA markings and titles come from a 737 and the registration letters from an Airtours A321. the red and blue ribbons are a little oversize for a 146 but i can live with that. 9. Hi Ian,the white/grey is plastikote gloss white aerosol from hobbycraft decanted to use in airbrush with just a hint of black added to try and tone it down slightly, have to admit i find the debate about BA grey very confusing as when I look at photos it seems more biased towards the white to me, or perhaps its just me and I really do need to go to specsavers. Cheers Michael.
  10. Hi everyone, i recently saw a photo that reminded me that this aircraft wore BA livery back in the mid nineties,as I had one in the cupboard and some spare BA decals in the spares folder I thought it would be an enjoyable little project and so it proved to be.Had to use a bit of modellers license with some items, the badge on the tail fin comes from an airfix 737 and is a little oversize, also door and emergency exit outlines come from a 707 and should be white but are a good match for size, the red striping comes from an extradecal sheet also lettering for TAT logo. overall it was a very enjoyable build.

  20. Hi Dave yes I dont have a plan for the {express} yet will have to be some improvisatoin involved, looking back at previous builds I wonder if the ba titles could have come from a 737 as they seem to be a good match for size. Cheers Michael.
  21. Thank you all for your words of wisdom, yes I am building g-mans,the decals will come from the skyline detail set and the ba crest, fuselage titles, red stripe on lower fuselage and door outlines will come from the spares folder. The airfix 737 looks like a good source for the crest and red stripe and I have some titles which seem to match the size required which I think may have come from a 707. Many thanks Michael.
  22. Hi everyone,I am currently building the revell 146-200 in the BA landor livery and am unsure of the colour of the wings, are they the usual light grey?.Havent found a picture that defines it clearly, anybody got any ideas. Cheers Michael.
