Hello, Skyways was taken over by Dan air and operated a coach-air service from London to Paris with the 748 flying between Lydd and Beauvais, This was in the mid 70's, not sure how long it continued.                                                                                                    Cheers Michael.

Hi everyone just finished this one, first time I have used mark 1 kits, found a few challenges with fit of some parts but overall it seems to be a good representation of the 748. I've built that same model in the same livery. I used the decals on the tail and fortunately they went on reasonably well but I remember having to be really careful to make sure they sat well over the rudder fairings. I thought it was going to be a disaster.

 

I had a lot of trouble joining the wing to the fuselage. The wing was simply too long and didn't fit in the slot made for it in the fuselage. I had to shorten the centre section on the wing quite a bit. Did yours go together any better?

Hi Adam, If it can be any reassurance to you I have bought a number of decal sheets from F-DECAL  including the concorde in landor livery a few weeks ago and have not  had any problems, from my own experience I would be happy to use them again.                         Cheers Michael.

Hello sorry about any confusion about AA decals, the web address is , AUTHENTIC-AIRLINER- DECALS.DE   there is a large range available and I think most airline modellers seem to use them, they definitely enhance the finished model.                                                 Cheers Michael.

Hi everyone,just finished this Court line 111, one of my favourites from way back, brings back memories of many sunday afternoons spent in the  viewing area at Luton watching them, It would be lovely to hear those Speys roaring again. This was my first all resin kit and was pleased that it   was quite a trouble free build.
