  1. From a French, amazing to see foreigner in Love with our ugly bomber production of the late 30's. Amiot 143 is another example of the good taste of the Armée de l'Air during this period, but I have to admit that they bring some romanticism, all this being summed up with the Potez 530 used by the Republican during the Spanish Civil War, and the so called Malraux escadrille! All being said, congratulations for a tremendous job of an old model which proves once again the saying:" Old pans good cook". Cheers and Bravo.
  2. Being deviant from time to time is no sin. In fact, it makes you realize you are appreciate by other people😂! Best regards to you all and thanks for the tremendous help your comments are!
  3. Danke Andy. Yes the black parts on the wing lights are from Brengun. Concerning the weathering, beware, those rivets are holding more than their share of washes and are hard to clean without destroying the effects. Have a nice day.
  4. I have read a lot of very good comments on that model and most of them are true. A very pleasant build indeed with some tricky point in adjustment, mainly on the engine cover. The concept of building the tubular structure before joining the fuselage must be done with care, but, in the end worked very well. A few details have to be scratch build in order to make your Hurricane faithful: - Dress the back side of the radiator with the retraction mechanism using stretch sprue. Another one separate the front of the radiator (not done yet). - built three handles of 3mm long for the moveable part of the canopy, one is outside two are inside on each side of the hood. -a navigation light is to be placed 2mm before the antenna mast. - cables for the rudder on both sides ( I have to do those) As I wanted a SEAC Hurricane I choose the first deco of the box from the 34Sq in the spring of 44 in Imphal piloted by the Sq/leader CPN Newman. Most of the decal were scanned and then masks were done with the Silhouette. Only the personal insignia and stencils are decals. The guns from the kit have been just put in to their holes, not glued, waiting for the Master set to arrive. Once again a very nice kit and certainly a strong candidate for those in love with heavy weathering. 5. Nice work old chap! Mine is not far behind, stay tuned! Cheers Russ.
  6. I am in debt for all those informations and my thanks are deep and sincere.
  7. Concerning a Hurricane Mk IIC, your answer makes sens. Thanks for that.
  8. Hello fellows. Are the Green and brown colors for the SEAC Hurricanes the same shades as in Europe or are they a little different in hues? TIA, best regards.
  9. Nice job on a said rude model. Some details could be added like the valve of the compressor air intake, note also that the canopy frames are black on the MC202 not interior green. But these are minor details, as I wrote bello lavoro!
  10. Great rendition of the D-9. Do not worry all those who have been through this built encountered the same problems, and we all long for Eduard to give the "long-nose" the same upgraded treatment than on their FW-190 A serie. Horrido!
  11. Thanks mate! Same to you! (on dirait L.Ruquier!😂😂😂)
  12. As Toryu, exceptional job! Thanks for sharing.
