  1. Hello Gents! I have started to built my 1/48th Nakajima B5N2 "Kate"which will carry the markings of the "Zuiho" at the Battle of Santa-Cruz in Oct 42. I have doubts about the undersurface color, for if the upper surfaces are in Nakajima IJN Green, the underside has three options. Natural metal, but in late 42 not a good candidate, Nakajima grey/green, or IJN Light Ash grey. From my documentation choice number two should be correct but still some doubts with the ash/grey remain. Any opinion will be welcome, TIA, best regards.
  2. A striking Anson for sure Russ, but obviously you need new PSP!🤣 Cheers my friend.

  7. Normandie-Niemen plane of Marcel Albert, very well done indeed. Regards.
  8. Hello Rob, I have used H-303+ 15% of RLM 71 for the light green, and H-302+15% of RLM 70 for the dark one, Gunze range. Best regards.
  9. Well Andy after reading your comment I went to look at the model and honestly did not spot such a problem. I suppose that the angle at which I took the pics can give that effect. Many thanks for your eagle eye and appreciation. Cheers.

  11. Happy Easter folks! I am glad to present my finished Curtiss "Demon" from Dorawing. Well the kit is a very good base to start with, but close inspection of a lot of pics from the Dutch CW-21 will help you to improve the level and the exactitude of the details. I had a lot of trouble with the plastic quality, when I was fixing the right wheel, the U/C leg which was glued and painted on the model broke in three parts! I must also inform those who will built this model to prepare the fixing points of the U/C legs in the U/C bay (enlarge holes and slots, dry fit a lot). if you don't, you are heading for big trouble! The plane is from the 2-VLG-IV based at Perak in Java in September 41. Home made masks were used for the markings, colors are my own mixed. A soft morning sun allowed me to take outdoor pics.
