  1. Those are seriously stunning ! I have the Hasegawa YZR500 Tech21 on order. Never built Hase bikes before - are they up to Tamiya quality ? Billy.
  2. This is fantastic .. thanks for sharing Marek.
  3. Hiya guys.... How do the Hasegawa bikes compare with Tamiya offerings ? Just that I see Hasegawa are issuing a new version of this kit in November http-::www.hlj.com:product:HSG21708:Aut Thanks.... Billy
  4. Not seen anything like it - I'm impressed......
  5. Wonderful - built this many years ago alongside the BMW Afrika Corp outfit. Still Have the Zundapp Elephant in the stash. (Box somewhat squashed) Think these Esci kits where pretty good at the time and still are unique imo.
  6. Great stuff ! Weathering looks subtle and love the cockpit detailing
  7. Had an email from HLJ to say that Tamiya had put price up from 18,000 to 21,000 yen which I calculate to be about £132. HLJ price £105.84. Still very expensive - but I still have it on back order - it's got to be a cracker of a kit Billy
  8. Just fascinating... your approach to building it = and now you throw in electrics !
  9. Agree...very nicely painted indeed. His eyes in particular - portray his character wonderfully.
  10. Oh wow, Nigel, thanks for the soda bread recipe - will print it off. Feel a bit guilty as this is modelling thread not a cookery one. However, as recently divorced man, trying to be a modeller and a cook after so many years, your thread is such a help. Just need to get into the swing of modelling again....got everything I need stash, tools, paints etc.. except the confidence! Britmodeller is such an inspiration.. Thanks so much Nigel, you're a star.... you're all stars
  11. Wow... that's brilliant , Nigel thanks for the excellent advice. Will put in a bid - as you say, bit of a billy bargain..lol Back to the Dalek.....
  12. Thanks so much for the recipe and the advice Nigel. Have printed it off. Will get a bread maker. I am really enjoying your thread ........ top notch Billy
  13. Really beautiful finish Steve. Havn't heard of Merit kits for years - in fact had forgotten about them.
  14. Totally agree - though the steak did look tasty. Best thread on here. Nigel deserves an award of some sort. Certainly got me thinking about making my own bread. Any good recipes for Soda bread ? Yes the Dr. Who and the Daleks have been part of British culture since the 60's. Remember William Hartnell - the first Dr and those Daleks in black and white ? Yes they were scary
  15. oh my word ! .... stand up and take a bow .... I didn't know these little kits had so much potential
