  1. There are some photographs around, mainly captioned as taken in Poltawa. And you'll find some details on operations here - http://yogysoft.de/pawel/_kursk/units_pdf/ZG1.pdf
  2. Try cockpitinstrumente.de - there are parts of He 111 H-20 Handbuch there with description of both MG 81 Z and MG 131 Seitenstände, not very clear photos though. regards
  3. just found this on http://kevsaviationpics.blogspot.com
  4. As far as I know (and with my limited knowledge of english) there wasn't such thing on fuel injected Jumo 211 p.
  5. At least I found out the origins of the background photograph... it is Flight photo used in various ads in 1939. p.
  6. You can download free pdf sample with Skua top view drawing from stratus site... p.
  7. Another one this time I multiplied length of the drawing by 103,5% - assuming the measurement 10,8 m was taken with tail down and the a/c axis is about 15 degrees to the ground. p.
  8. Ok, but this Skua was, I presume, photographed from another aircraft flying approx. with the same speed. I do not have a better copy of the photograph, I found it on the web. p.
  9. Hello Graham Any 'primary' data concerning Skua dimensions we are aware of?
  10. Somewhat better quality - this time I tried to match the wing... Assuming span is 14,1 m and length 10,8 m the plans in mushroom book are accurate. Maybe there is indeed some deformation in photograph, although it does not look to be distorted. p.
  11. Tried to match plans published in mushroom book to Skua photograph and came up with something like this - Any thoughts? Are there any other reasonable drawings of Skua out there? p.
  12. Simon, there are quite a few kits of Tempest F.2 including Matchbox, Special Hobby etc. Very nice photograph, thank you, I'd appreciate somewhat better (larger) scan. regards, Pawel
  13. Hi Simon, any chances that you post this photo here? regards, Pawel
  14. Thanks again, I don't quite like silver Tempests so it seems one of the camouflaged machines based in Germany is an option for the modeller, especially as there some nice photos of 33 Sqn machines on the web...
  15. Thanks, and what about this - http://www.aircraftresourcecenter.com/Rev2...AS729021/07.jpg Does it seem probable?
  16. Evening gents, are there any known photos of Tempests F.2 of 33 Sqn deployed to Malaya in 1949?
