  1. I like your paint and weathering style, combined with a very neat build makes for an impressive model.
  2. Hi All, A while ago I was the winning bid on Evil Bay for this kit. However the good seller (honest guy that he is) refunded my payment when he realised the kit was missing the instructions! What a great bloke!, he even refused my offer of paying 1/2 to cover postage! So I'm now hoping somewhere in Britmodeller land, someone has a copy of the instructions for the Italeri AH-1T Sea Cobra, Kit no.835, that they could scan for me please. Thanks & regards Stephen
  3. Weve all made the decal oops. I once masked and painted upside down Austrian marking on a 40inch Skyvan (free flight scale model). It wont be to hard to replace if you felt so inclined. Really like the aeroplane.
  4. I'd be happy if my 1/48th version turns out that well!
  5. looks like a tamed beast to me, very tidy.
  6. holy heck 1/44! I thought it was a great effort in 1/72!
  7. I enjoyed looking at both Spits and reading the story!
  8. Fantastic to actually see one built! Very nice scheme, and result from a very average AMT kit, i've one in the stash also & this is a really good motivator.
  9. the quality of the build & paint makes that model something special.
  10. Very nice model & an intersting aeroplane, one in 1/48th would be great.
  11. Great model build and an excellent canvas for your paint job & weathering skill!
  12. I read Magna models and shuddered! Well done for finishing one, let alone doing it well.
  13. I really need to build a P-40! Yours looks the business, very tidy.
  14. Great subjects, nicely done! Any plans for a Privateer?
  15. Thanks Reggie - you do like your Beaver! Have you seen the Whiskey Jack range of decals? He does a range of bush planes including the Beaver in various scales. http://www.freightdogproductions.com/news/news.html Freight Dogs are the UK supplier, but I think you can go direct also. cheers Stephen
  16. Thanks Paul, I blame Hobby Craft for that one! Thats the only way the strut arrangement will fit. It maybe a Beaver but the kit is a bit of a dog.
  17. The Hobbycraft Beaver built a few years ago. All was going well until I dropped it and broke the wing off and dislodged the oil drum I had placed in the cargo bay! So had to crack open the fueslage and start again, model just wasnt the same after that excercise. Cheers Stephen
