  1. oh the joys of Special Hobby, its coming along great!
  2. Great choice of subject if I do say so! May I suggest that you spend some time refering to the actual photo, in preference to the profiles that Caruana has done on this aircraft, and draw you own conclusion. I found a couple of slight differences. Here is my take on the subject.
  3. Both are lovely models, but I really admire the vac build!
  4. Thanks to all for your comments, always appreciated. The problem with the initial test of this Mistel wasnt a total success, as upon release the glider reared up and struck the 109. The cradle was modified on later versions o prevent this, this however was the first Mistel able to take off under its own power. Cheers Stephen
  5. For a rough kit, it came up a treat! Dont do anything diferently, just make more.
  6. I look forward to seeing your build. I'll be doing a Pacific Coast MC-200, in 1/48.
  7. It looks the goods to me, very tidy model and a great scheme.
  8. Tidy model, a pretty aeroplane, looks more like a racer than a fighter!
  9. G'day All, I saw this early Mistel combo in a book that I borrowed from a friend and had to have a go at re-creating it in 1/48. I scaled up the drawings to 1/48 and built the cradle out of wire & plastic strut material. Decals were made for me by my mate Dave, on his Alps printer. Hope you enjoy the pics. Cheers Stephen Added this pic of the prototype.
  10. I expect to see it on the table in June at Expo! I am really glad that Im NOT entering modified jet this year, as i'd only be making up the numbers. stunning job.
  11. Very tidy, black / dark blue can be a bugger to paint well - yours looks great.
  12. very tidy model, not a subject you see done very often.
  13. Geez thats nice, I not really a fan of dio's but yours looks the part.
