  1. Mike, We can always count on you for something different and eye catching!
  2. It looks great! , the only thing is maybe it would have a flat tyre being so neglected?
  3. Nice overall, agree with the prop comments. Maybe try using a silver Prisma pencil, for the chipping efect, controlable and can be removed if overdone. I wouldnt be without one.
  4. It looks great, your model probably took longer to complete than the full size!
  5. Hello All, Sincere apologies for my failure to deliver on completing this project to schedule. I needed to complete a 1/48 Catalina for our nationals contest in VIC, and the self induced disasters and rectifications needed just robbed me of time for this project. On a brighter note my Hase Mc-202 was lucky enought to place 3rd. Progress thus far. (IMG]http://i1152.photobucket.com/albums/p496/Prop-nut/005-1.jpg[/img] The Pacific Coast kit isnt bad, at all but the usual issues with limited run apply. Cheers Stephen

  7. That is rather tidy, tidy model - excellent in fact!
  8. very tidy model & an interesting scheme.
  9. very tidy model & an interesting scheme.
  10. Mike, You really like a path less well trodden! Different doesnt come close, very nice.
  11. Jeez thats a nice, wouldnt know it was a vac! Very well done.
  12. Hello All, Well I really must knock off a couple of these Pacific Coast kits before I treat myself to the Italeri version so here we go. These were the best kits kits on the market until recently, plenty of resin, PE and plastic by Special Hobby (i think) & very good quality decals. I know given my heritage I should be doing a Spit, but the losing side had such nice colour schemes :-) Here she is ready to go almost virginal!
  13. Sweet build, isnt the Ventura so much more aeroplane than a Hudson!. Ive got one in the stash and a couple of nice photos from the Aust War Museum archives, so my scheme is set.
  14. Great job Tony it looks a treat, next time maybe consider doing an RAAF scheme... I was lucky enough to see a Hudson flying years ago at an airshow in NSW and a static one on display when I visited NZ during my pilgrimage to Wanaka.
  15. Well you dont see a pink Hurri every day! Nice one, I didnt know there was on on Malta.
