A small amount of progress today. I've sprayed some paint around the cockpit and the seats and started building the cockpit using the PE. I'm using black grey for the cockpit and then a grey for the cabin

I've done a small amount by building the seats and butchering the instrument panel to get the PE to fit. The Black Dog resin electronic set comes with a nice replacement floor for the cockpit which is going to need a bit of fiddling to get to fit but the details are very nice Weirdly the resin doesn't come with instructions

Well, it's been absolutely forever since I built anything and I'm pretty sure that I haven't done a WIP for anything before. So I've decided to let myself in gently with a small, easy build! Here is (almost) everything for it. Just to make things a little easier the resin is for the Academy kit not Revell as is the PE. Also, I've never used either before. Should be a walk in the park, right? I mentioned earlier that this was almost everything, I also have the Lone Star models conversion set for PAVE LOW but seem to have misplaced it at the moment. All good fun I reckon!

That's really impressive. I did the B17 with one half of the fuselage in clear but it wasn't nearly as good as yours

That looks great. Did it fly with 2 crews? Very peculiar time when joining 2 aircraft together like that seemed a good idea! I built that glider about 30 years ago, I'd forgotten all about it
