  1. I 3D print replacement parts for most of my models now. It's relatively similar to working with resin aftermarket though a small amount of sanding may be required. Care must be taken when removing the parts from supports.
  2. @RMP2 available here https://mpmhobbies.com/en-gb/products/1-48-agm-119-penguin-missile-set-of-2 (also in 72nd).
  3. Ooh that looks very nice indeed. When I get round to building the interwar biplane in my collection, I will be buying one of these!
  4. I wonder if this will become the norm with Airfix too? It makes an awful lot of sense to keep everything quiet until they are ready to sell.
  5. I'd be very happy to see this too. It fits into Airfix's range, 1950's FAA , lots of markings too (including RAF with the Venom NF2/3).
  6. Stunning restoration, great work!
  7. Seeing as it's Airfix Day Eve, I ought to make my final prediction(s)... Once again, here are my best predictions for what Airfix may release in 1/48 scale. World War II Gloster Gladiator Hawker Typhoon Westland Lysander Westland Whirlwind Cold War BAe Jaguar MD Phantom FG1/FG2 Dh Sea Venom Westland Wasp/Scout BAe Sea Harrier Airfix seem to be working their way through British Cold War aircraft at the moment, I'm assuming that will continue. We'll find out tomorrow! Ben
  8. I think I'm of the wrong generation....
  9. I do something similar. In addition, when it's really cold (my printer is in the garage) I put a plastic bag and a box over the printer.
  10. That's how I read it, hence my surprise above.
  11. £1000 sales?! Again, I wasn't aware it was sales, at that point it means I might aswell complete give up on this 3D printing thing, just as you point out, having to pay tax on it would mean I'd be losing money. Completely agreed on your latter point, Facebook is completely unregulated (there are many people letting out houses for example). Where this becomes an even greater headache for me is, if I were to be 3D printing as a registered business, I think I'd also have to pay student finance repayments (effectively paid as a further tax) on everything sold via 3D printing. I have no idea how I'd do that and, once again, it'd mean I would be making a loss, not a profit.
