Very nice scheme and model! I think the last ones still operstional (apart from some limited Iranian use) and heavily upgraded with Mica missiles and a new radar.

Very nice build! Congrats! -
Third world? Maybe third in likelyhood of order.. How do Gripen and Hornet compare in range? The C/D might fall a bit short on payload. The E/F might do just right here...

Thing is, the one who pays usually decides and sets the rules... problem is polititians decide, people pay what for the polititian seems best...

I do hope it is not a billion a piece though... I assume Taiwan needs to pay for more then just naked planes...
-
There are some on order in Bulgaria and Slovakia, but that is only <30 Taiwan maybe? Greece? India is highly unlikely at the current state.. 5 biliion for 90 aircraft... 55 Mio a pop.. Without engine, radar etc?

I'd assume it is a laser range finder

Egyptian and Iraqi MiG-19s are very welcome!

Interesting photos, thanks! I would not call it completely wrong though! They are not fesigned to work after all... and deatail.is there and reasonably good as well. For modelling purposes I'd say it is sufficient. My 2c only of course!

Looking actually slim and slender in these markings and dress! Verx nice model, nearly finished!

my 2, unessential cents to this topic: I also fully understand, at least they should have asked, better compensated first... then... I think it is the first and only time that Trumpeter/ Hobbyboss actually corrected/ improved on of their kits and still they get attacked for it... I fear Trumpeter would win this hypothetical case in court, for being first only "inspired" and than second in different material.... they do not advertise with this Zactomodels feature either... a thin line of course where the small guy is the looser.....I do hope that at least for some time Zactomodels business case worked for him...

sukhoi Su- 22UM3 - DDR - SCALE 1/48
exdraken replied to IPMS19's topic in Ready for Inspection - Aircraft
Yeah! Wow, what a great sight! Congrats to your Fitter Family album They all look realistic, great colors !! If I remember cortectly that is 1 KH ( Soviet) and 2 HB? -
yes Andre! then there is this resin conversion: https://www.scalemates.com/de/kits/neomega-c90-bae-hawk-200-conversion--321094 probably the best bet is the HobbyBoss kit in 48.. is probably also better suited for the job! I am sure someone is willing to build such kit, especially in the current corona time edit: a good read on the topic!: https://www.scalemodellingnow.com/hnaircraft-hobby-boss-bae-hawk-mk200

wow! looks lively and fantastic!

Hmmm I am not in the position to do them, but as a starter I try to help a bit. That is what we are talking about, no! https://www.airfighters.com/photo_9999_12983.jpg Looks great indeed! In 48th scale there was/ is a resin conversion from Neomega resin as option. And hobbyboss has one! https://www.scalemates.com/de/kits/hobbyboss-81737-bae-hawk-mk200-208-209--253990 That makes things easier! Decals, and even more so 11 sets willbe a challenge... at least there is not a lot of markings... as a start: http://www.internetmodeler.com/scalemodels/nraviation/AirFrame-Decals-1-48-BAe-Hawks-in-Worldwide-Service.php Or https://modelingmadness.com/scott/decals/ma/ma48115.htm https://www.largescaleplanes.com/reviews/images/1171/1171-7.jpg Those are for 6th squdron ... serials will need a change surely... 1/72 scale need a bit more research but I think there is a kit available at least!

Wow!! Great result!

1/48 MiG-21MF, East German Air Force, Eduard
exdraken replied to Bjorn's topic in Ready for Inspection - Aircraft
Very nice! You could weather the roundels a bit so that they'd loose their brightness... what was wrong with the numbers? -
No Eurofighter? No Rafale in the bidding anylonger? Then it has to be Gripen, no? Both F-35 and Super Hornet have been rejected before....

Summer delta, Eduard Mirage IIIC in 1/48
exdraken replied to Christer A's topic in Work in Progress - Aircraft
the canon pack was exchangeable for a fuel tank, sometime these were painted like this. the rear fuselage had either a rocket pack or a fuel tank, so was also exchangeable. Same coloring applies. why this exact plane had it painted like this, of course no idea! I'd assume there are photos out there somewhere edit: these ones e.g.? https://www.airliners.net/photo/France-Air-Force/Dassault-Mirage-IIIC/1829211/L http://saspozatlse.free.fr/ancien-178.jpg
