Hello Scott,

After you've logged into your account and gone to whichever photo album you wish to use, if you look at the top of that page, you will see an option in bold print which says 'Share this Album and with a (?) next to it. Don't click on that, but to the right of that option you will see a bold icon showing a gear/cog. Click on that and you will be shown a drop down menu for setting various options on the album. The third heading down the list will say 'Links' followed by the phrase -  "Show these share options for all of my albums" - it's then just a case of ticking whichever options you want to have displayed next to your photos for uploading to other sites. THEN MAKE SURE YOU CLICK 'SAVE' AT THE BOTTOM OF THE PAGE !! That should be job done. I just tick 'IMG code' and 'Direct Link' as that's the only options I ever need on the forums that I visit, though IMG code doesn't  seem to work on Britmodeller anymore, it has to be the Direct Link code. 

When you go to post your photos on 'Britmodeller' just do the same as you always did with the old IMG method but forget about using the IMG and instead you right click on the Direct Link window, which will be to the right of each photo or below the photos if they are in 'thumbnail'? The code link will then turn yellow and say 'copy', then you just left click on that and go back to the Britmodeller posting box and right click then 'paste' where you want it amongst your text. That should do it?

I don't seem to have as much trouble with Photobucket as some people seem to have, but I think the root of most peoples' problems seems to originate from Photobuckets' strange obsession with hiding things behind indistinct or obscure little symbols instead of just saying "look here to do this"!! You just need to investigate everything and discover how it works, then try to remember how you did it!!

I didn't explain the how to copy codes bit correctly (middle paragraph in my previous reply) - I was working from a faded memory! This the correct way to copy your images to the forum:

When you go to post photos on 'Britmodeller' just do the same as you always did but forget about using the IMG and instead you just left click on the Direct Link window, which will turn yellow and say 'copied', then you just go back to the Britmodeller posting box and right click then 'paste'. That should do it? You can also access the Direct link code, and others, when looking at your photos in 'thumbnail' mode as opposed to the expanded version. In 'thumbnail' they will be below each photo and turn blue when left clicked, you then need to right click and copy then paste in your forum post. When in 'expanded' they will be to the right of the photo and just need a left click to be copied.

hopefully that should do it, thanks., but if I do still experience any problems (with a test), I'll be sure to let you know.  If the modelling-gods are with me, I may get an RFI or two up within a reasonable time (both are near priming, but that doesn't mean much at my traditional speed).
