  1. One of these arrived the other day from the very nice people at Jadlam Racing. As ever it's going to end up being chopped into little pieces, mostly 88" long๐Ÿ˜€ Featuring a whole new chassis.
  2. Thanks for the likes. I won't mention the deliberate mistake on the driver's seat supports. I really should have read the instructions!
  3. This comparison video may be of use click HERE They appear to be readily available across the pond.
  4. Another nail in the coffin for mathematicians? Now where's my model makers abacus? ๐Ÿค”
  5. An excellent build and with the bespoke/scratch items you've certainly created a unique model. Great attention to detail, despite the battles along the way, congrats on getting there.
  6. Try here as an example. There are loads of how to videos on the site. The interweb has loads of cross section drawings of typical wheels for reference. For converting sidewall details into mm check out the Tyresize Calculator website. Then scale down to your specific needs.
  7. A little update. After having the opportunity to get the decals printed along with some others they are now on and the body can now be clear coated. This build is for a client hence the choice of livery. The interior is coming along too with the addition of the seats and the door cards have been completed with handles/winders, I forgot to take a pic of those. Those who know their Transits may get excited at the grille inserts for another version.
  8. And the prize goes to Neddy. Thanks much appreciated. The prize is free entry into the next game of โ€œName that Stickerโ€
  9. Transit Mk1 Supervan. The clearest image of the sticker is when the van is in the showroom. Not much of a game if I give you all the clues? ๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ˜‚
  10. Here's another fuzzy image to tax those little grey cells. If anyone can point me at a clear image I'd be greatful. The clue is FORD
  11. Whilst at Telford you should have asked the wheel seller about 1/43 number plate decals. ๐Ÿ™„ Excellent work on the dashboard.
  12. Whilst looking for reference material I came across this http://www.spiritracerclub.org/mini-moke-mule-de-course-ou-a-tout-faire/ Some very strange and some barely recognisable takes on the Moke, and some that just made me laugh out loud.
  13. Thin acetate sheets, in varying thicknesses, in book formare available from various arty-farty companies, available from online sellers. Coming in book from they are unscratched, unlike sheets in your LMS that appear to have been interlaced with sandpaper and the sweepings off the shop floor.
  14. Whilst searching for tyres this came up, loads of detail photos HERE
  15. Sat sitting watching a space. I had a look at the Ford Testing YouTube video, very enlightening, very grainy. Keith and tech! ๐Ÿ™„
  16. Thanks for the responses. I am also looking at other events and schemes beyond those the kit provides, Ulster and Manx rallies and gravel stage where other tyres apart from slicks were used. There are photos where I can see heavily treaded tyres with deeper sidewalls, but as Windy37/Gary stated photo evidence in any clarity is sadly lacking. I have a contact who rallied a Cosworth both in the UK and abroad but he's not answering emails so I'm stuck in a rut. I shall look at the sources suggested.
  17. I'm trying to find information for gravel tyres for this car, despite trawling the internet of truth detail is scant. The wheel diameter for gravel appears to be 16" but as to tyre size and tread pattern for the Michelins and Pirellis of the period my search has proved fruitless. If anyone can enlighten me with tyre dimensions and photos of tread patterns I'd be overjoyed, In the meantime some resin treaded wet tarmac tyres to fit the kit rims have fallen off a 3D printer near me. Look below for more on those...
  18. Reference here for the Autolec sticker https://www.holden.co.uk/p/multiple_sticker
  19. From Works Escorts in Detail by Graham Robson there is a Mk1 with a blue triangle with thin red lightning flash with white lettering below reading 'BATTERY MASTER SWITCH' this is rotated 90 degrees clockwise from horizontal. In your image the pull switch could be fitted through the lightning bolt, masking it.
  20. That well known pairing are back, this time saving the day by thwarting the Chocolate Bomber. Merry Christmas to one and all.
  21. I did too. The collection of Rally Cars video was, for my interests, much more interesting. I wish I had a shed that contained more than a lawnmower๐Ÿ˜ข A very enrertaining series, well done JS.
  22. Want, want, want, that's all we ever get from you.๐Ÿ˜‰ Then I'm usually the fool to go ahead and produce something ๐Ÿ™„
